Nature house in Ouddorp aan zee

Cozy, tiny summer cottage on the Dutch coast, with a garden, peace & character, close to the sea. If you choose my cottage, I’ll welcome you personally on the day of your arrival. The cottage is located in a small-scale vacation park near the Westerduinen nature reserve. The cottage is simple but charmingly decorated, suitable for one or two people (possibly with a small dog). The living-dining area has French doors opening onto the garden. There’s a small, practical kitchen with a gas stove, refrigerator, electric kettle, and Nespresso coffee maker. All cooking utensils, plus dish towels, are provided, and basic spices are available. The double bed (1.40 cm) in the bedroom is made up with lovely, fresh cotton linens when you arrive. Next to it is a narrow toilet. So keep that in mind! Your own private bathhouse is located at the back of the garden, featuring a lovely shower and an additional sink. There’s also a cabinet for the garden cushions. Outside, you’ll find cozy seating areas, plenty of greenery, and ample privacy.

The park is small-scale (20 lots) and located right behind the Westerduinen. It’s a 10-minute bike ride to the beach. It’s a setting where you can truly unwind. If you bike in the other direction, you’ll reach the charming center of Ouddorp. It features charming shops, a traditional bakery, and plenty of outdoor cafes. There’s a local market on Tuesdays, and a street fair during the summer. The Brouwersdam is a great spot for surfing or swimming in the ocean. There are great beach bars all along the coast. For hiking enthusiasts, there’s the “Kwade Hoek” or Preekhil—both beautiful nature reserves. I have plenty of brochures with interesting tips. Why book my cottage? You’re just a short walk through the dunes to the beach, but without the hustle and bustle of a boardwalk. Private garden, with lots of greenery, peace, and privacy.
