On December 20, 2024, we became the proud owners of this lovely cottage on a small vacation park. We have the cottage immediately thoroughly renovated, modernized and decorated hotel chic, so you lack nothing during your vacation. To create even more hotel atmosphere, the beds are already made, towels are waiting for you and you can immediately make a cup of coffee or tea. The cottage is located on a beautiful large lake where you can swim, pedal boats (this is ready for you to use), catch big fish including pike, bream, roach, carp, eel, etc. From the lounge sofa on the jetty you can enjoy the view in peace and quiet and if you are lucky, spot a kingfisher or large bird of prey. If you like a good piece of meat, there is a kamado barbeque available to prepare it to perfection. During the Christmas vacations the cottage will be decorated in Christmas atmosphere with a beautiful Christmas tree. Ceiling height is 2 meters.
Nature and surroundings
In the immediate vicinity you will find many polder areas where you can walk and cycle. If you own a boat, you can moor it in the harbor for an additional fee of 50 euros. The harbor is within walking distance of the cottage. From here you can sail beautiful routes to Kolhorn and Alkmaar among others, with its nice stores, cozy cafes and not to mention the cheese market on Friday in high season. A 5-minute walk from the cottage there is a public outdoor pool with children's pool and slide where you can play, sunbathe and swim for a fee. Also you are within 10 minutes by car at shopping center New Niedorp, here you will find a Jumbo, Vomar, butcher, bakery, etc. Large shopping centers can be found at 15 min drive to Schagen and (Middenwaard) HHW and within 30 min you walk on the beach in Callantsoog with its cozy stores and cafes. Along the village street in New Niedorp is a nice playground for the kids, you can go here on foot.
