On December 20, 2024, we became the proud owners of this lovely cottage on a small vacation park. We have immediately thoroughly renovated, modernized and decorated the cottage hotel chic, so you lack nothing during your vacation. To create even more hotel atmosphere, the beds are already made, towels are waiting for you and you can immediately make a cup of coffee or tea. The cottage is located on a beautiful large lake where you can swim, pedal boats (this is ready for you to use) and fish. From the lounge sofa on the jetty you can enjoy the view in peace and quiet and, if you are lucky, spot a kingfisher or large bird of prey. If you like a good piece of meat, there is a kamado barbeque at your disposal to cook it to perfection. In the Christmas vacations the house will be decorated in Christmas atmosphere with a beautiful Christmas tree. THE FLOOR IS 2 METERS HIGH. ONLY SMALL DOGS TO 10 KILO ARE ALLOWED.
Nature and surroundings
In the immediate vicinity you will find many polder areas where you can walk and cycle. If you own a boat, you can moor it in the harbor for an additional fee of 50 euros. The harbor is within walking distance of the cottage. From here you can sail beautiful routes to Kolhorn and Alkmaar with its quaint stores, cozy cafes and not forgetting the cheese market on Fridays in high season. 5 minutes walk from the cottage there is a public outdoor pool with children's pool and slide where you can play, sunbathe and swim. We enjoyed immensely in this modern cottage where everything is there. It is not super spacious (upstairs/wc/bathroom) but spacious enough. For us it was fine in terms of space with 4 people.
Wij hebben enorm genoten in dit moderne huisje waar alles aanwezig is. Het is niet super ruim (boven/wc/badkamer) maar ruim genoeg. Voor ons was het prima qua ruimte met 4 personen.
What a lovely place in a quiet park in a green setting. We had great weather and could swim right from the jetty and enjoy the water with the pedal boat.
Wat een heerlijke plek op een rustig park in een groene omgeving. Wij hadden geweldig weer en konden zo vanaf de steiger zwemmen en genieten op het water met de waterfiets.

The four of us (mother, father, adolescent, & teenager) had a wonderful midweek in this cottage on the lake! Top decorated, everything is thought, good beds too, and a great location. Ideal for day trips in the area, but the house itself also really invites you to relax so we have done plenty of that: sunbathing on the terrace, water cycling several times a day, and just chilled on the spacious sofa inside. This cottage is truly a gem on the park!
Wij hebben met ons viertjes (moeder, vader, puber, & tiener) een heerlijk midweekje gehad in dit huisje aan het meer! Top ingericht, aan alles is gedacht, goeie bedden ook, en een geweldige locatie. Ideaal voor dagtripjes in de buurt, maar het huisje zelf nodigt ook ècht uit tot onthaasten dus dat hebben wij vollop gedaan: lekker liggen zonnen op het eigen terras, elke dag meermaals gewaterfietst, en gewoon gechilld op de ruime bank binnen. Dit huisje is echt een pareltje op het park!!
