Sleeping in a bell tent with a private grove at the Berendries is ecologically lo-fi responsible camping on one of the peaks of the Flemish Ardennes. Be sure to check out our range of workshops (weaving, tufting, bamboo box making) and retro bikes to explore the region, or use the bikes to visit our eco-family wellness. If you want to get away from it all, you can visit this eco-camping site run by Stephen and Charlotte. Then sleep wonderfully in a furnished glamping tent, there is room for a group of 8! Dogs are allowed. Furthermore, you can cook on a gas stove, there is running water available, a compost toilet, electricity via an off-grid system and fun games are available. a garden stove to roast delicious marshmallows, a rocket stove for that extra outdoor cooking experience,.... come slow down!
Nature and surroundings
The trees of the cooling grove were planted in 1990 at the Birth of Charlotte, all new trees and fruit trees are the same age as our daughter, Zsuzsanna. Ripe vegetables and fruits may be picked from the picking garden and kitchen garden.
