Our charming log cabin for 2 people is situated in a beautiful, secluded location on our farm in central Sweden. It’s nestled in an idyllic landscape with views of the forest and meadows. Lake Björksjön (600 m) is within walking distance and partially visible from the property. Cozy cabin with a wood-burning stove, an open kitchen (2 stovetop burners, sink with cold water, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, electric kettle, dishes, etc.), a cozy sleeping area, and a dining area with an armchair in front of the wood-burning stove. The tastefully designed outhouse (modern dry-separation toilet) and the outdoor shower (cold water only) are located right next to the log cabin. Beautiful terrace with a magnificent view of the large meadow and the forest. Deer, foxes, and hares are regular visitors here. The open fire pit is perfect for cozy, balmy evenings around the grill. On cooler days, the stove inside the house provides cozy warmth and a comfortable, special atmosphere.

The log cabin is located in the beautiful Bergslagen region of central Sweden. This region is known for its dense, untouched forests, sparkling lakes, and picturesque rolling countryside. A rowboat is waiting for you down by the lake and is within walking distance. You can fish here without a fishing license—with a little luck, you might catch pike or perch. Another rowboat is moored at a larger lake nearby. Both boats are free to use. You can rent kayaks from us for a small fee. The surrounding area is a true mountain biking paradise, offering several trails of varying difficulty levels—a dream come true for sports enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers. Set out on hikes or walks right from your doorstep, pick blueberries, lingonberries, and mushrooms, and experience the beauty of the Swedish countryside. With a bit of luck, you might even spot a moose.

All in all it was a perfect stay over. I didn't do much of the activities you probably could do over there, so I can't say anything about that, but for what I did, just relaxing, it was fantastic.
It was as fantastic stay over. The house is clean and you have everything you need to totally calm down. It is super quiet, the environment is lovely and the hosts are very sweet and helpful. I will come back. Thank you very much.

We were very satisfied, everything was as shown and described in the pictures, but we would have liked to have read in the description that there was ONLY cold water. But we were fine with that too.
