Tucked away on the southernmost tip of Oosterwijk estate you will find our B&B. Last year we lovingly built a Tinyhouse, completely by hand and using many natural materials, including tree trunks from our own garden as a solid base. Via a short walk through the magical forest you will arrive at the B&B with a breathtaking panoramic view over the fields. The B&B has a spacious terrace with sitting area, swing, Kamado BBQ and an idyllic woodland garden with wood-fired hot tub. Both the terrace and the woodland garden with hot tub are exclusively at your disposal during your stay. The cottage is fully equipped; a luxury bathroom with walk-in shower, an organically shaped kitchen made of Dutch beech with various appliances to prepare a simple meal or extensive breakfast, a beamer for a romantic home theater experience and a Marshall Bluetooth speaker. By arrangement, you can use a charging station at the mansion.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is a tribute to its natural surroundings. Trees from its own forest are left in view and a beautiful wall installation of a natural branch extends across the entire side wall and extends across the bed. The glass front can be opened completely, making the inside and outside one. Bird lovers will be in for a treat. Admire the beautiful song of songbirds that you will frequently see hopping past in the trees, get a visit from the stately pheasant or spoonbill, witness a diving flight of a buzzard or falcon or the beautiful appearance of the long-eared owl, which you can see flying over in the evening from the hot tub. The area is perfect for cycling tours along the bulb fields, a walk through the Polder Garden, a visit to Landgoed Hoenderdaell, where the Lion Foundation and SOS Dolphin are located, the Amstelmeer where you can supper or windsurf or of course the beach. In the immediate vicinity you will also find numerous restaurants.
