In the middle of the Eifel National Park, in Rurberg, just a few minutes' walk from Lake Rursee, our sustainably built cabins await you - your retreat in the middle of nature. Explore over 360 km of signposted hiking trails, e.g. the 27 km long Rursee circular trail with fantastic views. For cyclists and mountain bikers, there are a variety of routes through forests, valleys and mountain ranges. You can also discover the surroundings from the water - sailing, stand-up paddling or a canoe tour. On warm days, the Rurberg natural swimming area and the Einruhr adventure pool invite you to swim. In winter, small ski areas, toboggan slopes and snowshoe trails offer you plenty of opportunities. For relaxing hours afterwards, a visit to one of the thermal spas is well worthwhile. All around you will find an excellent infrastructure with shopping facilities, regional restaurants and excellent medical care at the Eifelklinik St. Brigida in Simmerath.

The cottage is located on a busy part of the street, as many residents use the road intended for agricultural vehicles. The village has a good "snack bar" on the waterfront, a miniature golf course and beautiful hiking trails. At both reservoirs you can hop on the tour boat for a short or long cruise. Vogelsang, the Oleftallsperre, the Urfttallsperre, the Adler- und Wolfspark and the Wilder Kermeter Natural Adventure Park are highly recommended nearby.
Het huisje ligt op een drukke plek in de straat, omdat veel bewoners gebruik maken van de weg bestemd voor landbouwvoertuigen.
