Are you ready for nothing at all, except peace, nature and simplicity, then step into our small but cozy mobile homes on the idyllic island of De Woude in the middle of the Alkmaarder and Uitgeestermeer. Far away from the hustle and bustle, yet surprisingly close to Alkmaar and Amsterdam. Kneuterig, pure and deliciously simple. Book your stay today and come and relax on De Woude! In the mobile homes you will find a small oven that fits 2 pastries, an electric stove for 2 pans (including pans), a small refrigerator, Senseo coffee machine and tea kettle including coffee pads and tea bags. Towels and bed linen are included.
Nature and surroundings
The Woude is surrounded by a wetland where you can enjoy wide views and beautiful sunsets. There are 2 restaurants on the island. The area offers plenty of opportunities for beautiful bike rides through De Beemster, De Schermer or a little further to the dunes and beach of Castricum/Heemskerk. The only access to the island is a ferry, for which you have to pay per crossing. This ferry sails Friday and Saturday until midnight, the other days until 11 p.m. (except holidays). Alkmaar and Amsterdam are approximately 20 minutes away by car, a car is necessary as public transport is not available nearby. Next to our address there is a campsite which means that during the busier periods it can be a bit livelier.
