Far away from the hustle and bustle, yet surprisingly close to Alkmaar and Amsterdam. Quaint, authentic, and wonderfully simple. Book your stay today and come unwind on De Woude! The mobile home features a box bed measuring 140 x 200 meters. There’s a small kitchenette with a mini-oven that fits two bake-off rolls, an electric hot plate for two pans (pans included), a small refrigerator, and an extra cooler outside under the awning. There’s also a Senseo coffee maker and a tea kettle, including coffee pods and tea bags. Towels and bedding are included.

De Woude is surrounded by a water-rich nature reserve where you can enjoy sweeping views and beautiful sunsets. There are two small restaurants on the island. The surrounding area offers plenty of opportunities for beautiful bike rides through De Beemster, De Schermer, or a little further to the dunes and beach of Castricum/Heemskerk. The only way to access the island is by ferry, for which you must pay per crossing. This ferry runs until midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and until 11 p.m. on other days (excluding holidays). Alkmaar and Amsterdam are about a 20-minute drive away; a car is necessary since public transportation isn’t available nearby. Ambient noise: There is a campground next to our address, so during busier periods it can be a bit livelier—for example, with audible music—and airplanes may fly overhead, which can be heard.
