Nature house in Nieuwe Niedorp

A real nature house: lovely unobstructed view, cozy cottage and very cozy with the scurrying ponies. Practically everything in order. We had a great weekend!

Een echt natuurhuisje: heerlijk vrij uitzicht, knus huisje en heel gezellig met de scharrelende pony’s. Praktisch gezien alles in orde. We hebben een fijn weekend gehad!

Beautiful location overlooking an old orchard. Within a few minutes walk you are in the middle of the polder.

Mooie ligging met uitzicht in een oude boomgaard. Binnen enkele minuten lopen sta je middenin de polder.

Super nice cottage in a beautiful setting. You are in the middle of the village but still in peace and quiet. We were warmly received and all the necessities were present in the cottage. Very nice that you sit next to the stables and can pet the ponies, which are very sweet. Highly recommended! :)

Superleuk huisje in een mooie omgeving. Je zit midden in het dorp maar toch in alle rust. Wij werden warm ontvangen en alle benodigdheden waren aanwezig in het huisje. Heel leuk dat je naast de stal zit en de pony’s kunt aaien, die zijn hartstikke lief. Een aanrader! :)

It was difficult during thunderstorms when the horses were inside, nothing wrong with that in itself, but there is an eye in the stable that goes on every time a horse moves, so the light goes on and off all the time on those days. Because our dog focuses on horses, it was also often difficult for example when the children came for a walk with the horses past our door. A signal would have helped a lot, but because of that we had to be very alert whether someone would pass by or not. People without dogs will obviously have no problem with this and probably enjoy it. The mattress upstairs is rather soft, you lie a bit in a pit, might need replacing. Microwave or oven would be a fantastic addition, but probably not a picture for...

Lastig was het bij onweer, dat de paarden binnenstonden, op zich niets mis mee, maar er staat een oog in de stal dewelke aangaat telkens een paard beweegt, dus het licht gaat steeds aan en uit op die dagen.
Doordat onze hond focust op paarden was het ook dichtwijls moeilijk dat bv de kindjes even kwamen wandelen met de paarden voorbij onze deur. Een seintje had veel geholpen, maar daardoor moesten we heel alert zijn of er iemand zou voorbij komen of niet. Mensen zonder honden zullen hier uiteraard geen problemen mee hebben en waarschijnlijk hiervan genieten.
De matras boven is nogal zacht, je ligt een beetje in een put, is misschien aan vervanging toe. Microgolf of oven zou een fantastische aanvulling zijn, maar waarschijnlijk geen plaatje voor...

The reception was very warm and pleasant, there was a bottle of wine with nuts, blissful. The cottage itself is small, more for 2 people, limited equipment for cooking, but everything there is of high quality. The view is beautiful. Waking up to a view of the orchard is wonderful. We had our two dogs with us, who played to their hearts' content in the orchard. More difficult was that one of our dogs, is quite focused on horses, And because the dear Fred at rest just walking around freely was very difficult. The hostess is fantastic nothing is too much for her, she responds quickly and solves everything. You can ask her anything. Beautiful surroundings, everything close at walking distance. Thanks for the fantastic service!

De ontvangst was zeer warm en aangenaam, er stond een flesje wijn klaar met nootjes, zalig. Het huisje zelf is klein, eerder voor 2 personen, beperkt in gerief om te koken, maar alles wat er is, is zeer kwalitatief. Het uitzicht is prachtig. Wakker worden met een uitzicht op de boomgaard is prachtig. We hadden onze twee honden mee, die naar hartelust in de boomgaard gespeeld hebben. Moeilijker was wel dat een van onze honden, nogal gefocust is op paardjes, En doordat de lieve Fred op rust gewoon vrij rondloopt was dat wel heel erg lastig. De gastvrouw is fantastisch niets is haar teveel, ze reageert snel en lost alles op. Je mag haar alles vragen. Mooie omgeving, alles dichtbij op wandelafstand. Bedankt voor de fantastische service!
