Nature house in Stevensbeek

The nature house where you sleep among the grunting pigs, can take a tour of our sheep at dawn and are served eggs from our own chickens for breakfast. Our accommodation is located in a detached chalet in the middle of our pig pasture, in addition there are also sheep, chickens, cats, Scottish Highlanders and guinea pigs on our farm. In short, plenty of animals to cuddle if desired. But if you want to quietly enjoy a good book or a nice walk / bike ride through the beautiful nature, that is certainly possible. Our house is rustically furnished, kitchen including large dining table, 2 person box spring, bathroom including shower and toilet and an outdoor terrace facing west to enjoy the sunset. This nature house is rented on weekends, vacations and single days by arrangement.

The nature house is centrally located between beautiful hiking and cycling routes, nothing is so wonderful to go on foot or by bike to discover the Brabant (and Limburg) nature. Within walking distance of the accommodation you will find the radio lakes Stevensbeek, these recreational lakes were created by sand mining and are suitable for angling and water sports. Around 1950 there was a support transmitter for the radio in these woods, hence the name. Many special birds can be regularly seen at the fishing pond and nature pond. The lakes are surrounded by beautiful forest areas, hiking trails and beaches. The Radioplassen are easy to reach and there is ample parking The Maasheggen are located nearby, The Maasheggen is the only Dutch Unesco biosphere reserve. It is a special recognition for this ancient cultural landscape in the northern Maas valley. The Maasheggen are a hedgerow landscape where hedges, meadows, drinking pools and old pollard trees have provided a safe home for plants and animals for centuries.
