The cottage is located on the Singraven estate, in the middle of the forest, on a spacious plot of about 1000 m2. Beautiful in spring and summer, but with all the scents and colors perhaps even more beautiful in autumn and winter. A tributary stream of the Dinkel meanders around the cottage. The cottage has its own entrance gate and private parking for several cars. Once inside, the circular space with loft will surprise you. You look all the way to the ridge and immediately notice that it feels cozy and cozy inside. The authentic details are easy to recognize. For example, the walls are plastered with clay and lime plaster and there is a traditional terrazzo floor in the bathroom. A nice double bedroom with box bed, bathroom with shower and toilet, sitting area with wood stove, dining area and a well-equipped kitchen are located downstairs. In the loft you will find a large double bed and a number of spacious built-in cupboards for all your belongings.
Nature and surroundings
Take a guided tour of Huis Singraven. The House contains period rooms in Louis XV and Louis XVI style as well as an exceptional art and antiques collection. Stroll around the estate, through the park and take a look in the estate store. You can also stroll through the arboretum, a specialized botanical garden, which attracts many visitors each year. The Slide House is definitely worth a visit. You can walk or cycle here. In the cottage there is a folder ready with beautiful hiking and cycling routes in the area. The Twente region is known for its many beautiful hiking and cycling routes. Some notable areas in the vicinity are the Lutterzand, Springendal or the Vasserheide. A trip to Germany (Nordhorn) for a nice shopping trip is easily done by bike.
