The Alte Brennerei in Trebnitz is located on the edge of the Schloss Trebnitz campus, right next to the castle park. Here, the numerous birds greet us in the morning with their twittering. Over the years, we have ecologically renovated this beautiful fieldstone building and used clay and wood to create a cozy and special living space from the charm of the old industrial building. Solar panels for hot water, clay stove and water-bearing stove for warmth, constructed wetland. The farm is run manually by a herb nursery
Nature and surroundings
Trebnitz lies exactly between Märkische Schweiz and Oderbruch. Regions that are so contrasting in terms of landscape and both very attractive. Lots of nature - few people. The Ostbahn (Berlin Ostkreuz - Küstrin) stops here in the village every hour (rail replacement service with buses from May to July 2025). We have bicycles here to explore the beautiful cycle paths. There is a village store in the village which also stocks organic produce and lots of regional goods. There is a charming café with the very best cakes... the numerous bathing lakes are easy to reach by bike. For example Obersdorfer Haussee 3 km
