Welcome to our Portuguese nature house by the water. A wonderful place in the middle of nature, where the many birds and hares can be regularly spotted. Our nature house is inspired by southern European Portugal. The warmth and welcoming atmosphere is in and around our house. The many windows let in a lot of light. Depending on the position of the sun this gives each time a different glow. With shades of soft yellow and terra as a base, the Portuguese warmth meets you. The house has many authentic Portuguese elements. So you quickly imagine yourself in the southern European country! From the bench you look out over the meadow, garden and water; always a bird or animal to spot! There is deliberately no wifi and TV for a relaxing stay. This nature house is for us a wonderful place, which we would like to share with nature lovers. Ideal for 2 people, also for rent for 4 people.
Nature and surroundings
The cottage is located on the Ganzendiep (in the National Landscape IJssel-Delta). It is the last in a row of cottages, giving you a long view over the meadows and the water. The day awakens with the dew over the meadows and ends with the sun setting on the jetty by the water. At the cottage, two sups are waiting for you to take to the water. The cottage is quite spacious and comfortable. We had to get used to the fact that there was no sink in the bathroom and we had to rely on the kitchen for that.
