The spacious vacation home (about 100 m2) is located in the front part of a former agricultural barn from the 1940s, originally built for threshing machine storage and later used as a seed potato storage. The barn has recently been carefully renovated and is equipped with all modern conveniences. Historic details have been preserved (e.g. insulation using flax) and create a unique atmosphere. The house consists of 2 floors. Downstairs are the living room, kitchen, shower and toilet (with WC). On the 1st floor is the very spacious bedroom which can be reached via a wide, sturdy staircase. In the rear part of the barn is a gallery where guests of the vacation home are also welcome to come and discover the art there. On the 2 terraces at the front of the house you can relax. In the adjacent shed (motor) bikes can be safely stored and charged.
Nature and surroundings
Located in the rural south of Drenthe, here you can enjoy the peace, the view of the canal Coevorden-Zwinderen and the beautiful surroundings, which offer many opportunities for cycling and hiking. The vacation home is located on a popular fishing water, perfect for fishing enthusiasts. For daily shopping and restaurants you can visit the beautiful village of Dalen (6 km.) and the historic town of Coevorden (8 km.). The beautiful forest pool Zwinderen is 3 km. away and at 7 km. a wonderful Wellness Center can be found.In the beautiful Drenthe village of Gees (8 km.) is the sculpture garden Big Art & Garden to find. The Drents Museum in Assen (52 km.) and Wildlands Adventure Zoo in Emmen (23 km.) are also easy to visit from the vacation home.
