Welcome! Our very complete detached country house features an open living kitchen with wood stove, utility room, a bathroom and three bedrooms that can comfortably accommodate six guests. Our food forest borders the endless Drenthe forests of the State Forestry Commission. The house is located in the residential yard, with our grounds directly behind it with vegetable garden, food forest, a wood-fired hot-tub, campfire pit and small natural swimming pond. The house features three bedrooms, comfortably accommodating up to six guests. Our kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for extensive cooking. In addition, we have a fire pit near the cottage for those who like to cook on a real fire. Your stay will support the regenerative agriculture transition. The hot tub is for common use with the other guests in the food forest. Please coordinate its use with each other. Wood needs to be paid for separately,
Nature and surroundings
The area has an awful lot to offer: the enchanting dolmens, MTB trails, beautiful swimming locations, and endless hiking trails through woodlands and moors.... and, of course, an abundance of wildlife: badgers, deer, foxes, owls, and much more. In the middle of our food forest is a small swimming pond, ideal for a quick refresher. Explore the beauty of the surrounding nature trails, discover picturesque local villages, help us work in our food forest, or simply unwind and find inner peace in the silence of our idyllic retreat. For children, there are plenty of activities: gnome land, the saber-toothed tiger trail, Wildlands, and, of course, nature itself! Whether you're looking for a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a peaceful solo adventure, our vacation home in Drenthe provides the perfect setting for unforgettable memories.
