In the middle of the nature park "Drents Friese Wold", where the nights are still pitch dark, you can experience the silence and peace, and where you are surrounded by nothing but nature.... Where you can then cycle endlessly, walk, run, or just enjoy ... lies our 4 person chalet. We are located on a friendly, small-scale campsite where you can find both tranquility, and the facilities, and if desired, you can seek them out. The chalet has 2 bedrooms, a nice living room with dining area and a well-equipped kitchen. On the veranda you can read your book, enjoy the sun or the shade, put your bikes or let your children play. If you wish, you can go to the on-site restaurant to sit down or takeaway. The children have plenty of play facilities and there is even children's entertainment in season (and Easter/Ascension/Pentecost) There is a heated outdoor pool, laundry, sandwich service, restaurant, reception.
Nature and surroundings
This place offers so much both in season, and out of season! Nature is endless here, not only the Drents Friese Wold has much to offer, but also the nearby Dwingelderveld. Right opposite the entrance to the campsite the hiking trails already start.... Here nature is still pure and frequent. There are numerous cycling and hiking routes, as well as lookout towers and sand flats and lakes. Diever and Appelscha are close by with more than enough places to eat. Culture is not far away either, the Drents Museum in Assen is an absolute must, but also the Shaksespeare Theater in Diever is not to be missed. But also consider a day of boating in Giethoorn! For children there are more than enough activities besides nature (experience trail Hoogersmilde, the "bare dunes"). Think of the Drentse Koe, bosbergtoren in Appelscha, Verkeerspark Duinen Zathe in Appelscha ... or just enjoy the campsite itself :)
