Welcome to our sustainable nature house in Holten (70 m²), located in nature reserve De Borkeld and only 1 km from the Holterberg, part of National Park the Sallandse Heuvelrug. This detached cottage is suitable for 4 persons and has three bedrooms: one with a double bed, one with a single bed and an attic room with two single beds. The attic is accessible via steep stairs and therefore less suitable for small children or people with mobility problems. The cottage was built in 2020, completely energy efficient and equipped with a heat pump, underfloor heating, solar panels and large windows overlooking the greenery. The kitchen is fully equipped including a dishwasher, induction hob and combination microwave. Enjoy peace, comfort and nature here with squirrels and many birds around the cottage. Supermarket, bakery and butcher can be found 3 km away. Rijssen is 7 km, Deventer 23 km. Parking is practically in front of the door.
Nature and surroundings
Our nature house is located in nature reserve De Borkeld: a beautiful landscape of heathland, forests and junipers. Here you walk straight into nature, with only the singing of birds and the rustling of leaves around you. At 1 km distance lies the Holterberg, part of National Park the Sallandse Heuvelrug. This unique area is known for its rolling hills, vast heathlands and rare flora and fauna. In August, the heather turns purple, a spectacular sight. The area is popular with hikers, cyclists and those seeking peace and quiet. With a little luck you will spot deer, foxes or a buzzard. Nature lovers are in for a treat: every day is different, every season a new experience.
