New (2025) two-person smoke-free house (75m2) in Natura2000 area Buurserzand between Haaksbergen and Buurse. The living room has a sitting area with television and a four-person dining table. The bedroom is equipped with a double box spring (1.80x2.10) and plenty of closet space. The bathroom has a toilet, double sink and a walk-in shower. The kitchen is fully and luxuriously facilitated. View through several glass doors on the terrace with garden furniture and barbecue at the lake. In the storage room is room for storing (and charging) (electric) bicycles or stowing a stroller. One dog is welcome, if leashed on the property (deer and other wildlife live on the property). All linen is included. A crib (up to 6 months) on request. Due to safety, swimming certificate is required for older children. A complete non-contact stay is possible. The cottage itself is barrier-free and wheelchair-friendly, the nature around it not always.
Nature and surroundings
This vacation home is completely free located in the quiet nature between Haaksbergen and Buurse, near the German border (10 minutes). It is very suitable for people looking for peace and nature. Fans of hiking and/or cycling can indulge themselves with all the routes in the vicinity. An athletic mountain bike trail is a stone's throw away. The site is adjacent to the Buurserzand containing the beautiful Buursermeerje. In the vicinity you will find several forests (Lankheet (with its special water park), Altena) and moors (Witte Veen, Aamsveen, Haaksbergerveen (with flock of sheep). You can swim in the Buursermeertje, the Buurserbeek, the Rutbeek or in subtropical swimming pool De Wilder. Located in Twente, De Kievit is a great base for enjoying nature, a sporting activity, a day of shopping or a museum visit. The inner man will not be short of anything either with numerous eateries nearby, including several starred restaurants.
