Nature house in Soest

The cottage has a nice porch. Inside, we found the kitchen to be quite small, though it had everything we needed to prepare a meal. The shower and separate toilet were fine. The beds were comfortable.

Het huisje heeft een fijne veranda. Binnen vonden we de keuken vrij klein al was alles aanwezig dat we nodig hadden om te een maaltijd te bereiden. . Douche en gescheiden wc in orde. Goede bedden.

The cottage is located in the woods, just a few meters from the Soester Dunes. The park is fenced in, and you can access the dunes through the gate using a code. The cottage is located near the end of the park, but there’s a house for 10 people fairly close by. It wasn’t occupied during our stay, but with a group that close by, it can get noisy. There’s plenty of space around the cottage, including a small lawn for some light activities or for sitting in the sun. Otherwise, the cottage is mostly shaded.

Huisje ligt in het bos, slechts een paar meter van de Soester duinen. Het park is omheind en dmv een code kan je door het hek de duinen in. Het huisje ligt bijna aan het eind van het park maar vrij dichtbij staat een huis voor 10 personen. Toen wij er waren was het niet verhuurd maar met een groep zo dichtbij kan het wel rumoerig worden. Om het huisje heen genoeg ruimte met een grasveldje voor wat kleine activiteiten of om in de zon te zitten. Verder is het om bet huisje vrij schaduwrijk.

It was truly a little cabin in the woods. Fortunately, it was cool inside, but also a bit dark.
Everything we needed was there in abundance; we cooked a lot ourselves and didn’t really miss a thing.
The patio in front of the house was very nice—always in the shade (we were there during a heat wave)—and you could go out to catch some sun.
There’s a group house fairly close in front of this cottage, and another one behind it. Fortunately, it didn’t bother us much, but it’s something to keep in mind.
The park is very wooded and truly unique, and the staff were all friendly and willing to help. So, a great place!!

Het was echt een boshuisje. Koel van binnen gelukkig, maar ook een beetje donker.
Alles was in ruime mate aanwezig, wij hebben veel zelf gekookt en eigenlijk niets gemist.
Het terras voor het huis was erg fijn, altijd in de schaduw (wij zaten er tijdens een hittegolf) en de zon kon je opzoeken.
Er zit een groepshuis vrij dicht voor dit huisje, en een groepshuis achter dit huisje. Gelukkig hebben wij weinig last gehad maar dat is wel iets om mee te nemen.
Het park is heel bossig en echt apart en de medewerkers waren ook allemaal aardig en bereid om mee te denken. Fijne plek dus!!

Beautiful surroundings, and this little cottage is really just 30 steps from the Soester Dunes. So beautiful!! You can walk right over there from your garden.
The nice thing is that you can sit there with a drink for a while to watch the sunset. We also saw and heard lots of beautiful forests and tons of birds. It’s truly a joy to be there.

We even saw a roe deer standing in our wooded garden once—it was breathtaking.
You’re also right next to Amersfoort Zoo.

Prachtige omgeving, en dit huisje ligt echt maar 30 stappen van de Soester duinen af. Zo mooi!! Vanaf je tuin loop je er zo heen.
Het leuke is dat je dus even met een drankje daar kan gaan zitten om de zonsondergang te bekijken. Ook veel prachtige bossen en onwijs veel vogels gezien en gehoord. Echt genieten daar.

In onze bostuin hebben we zelfs een keer een ree zien staan, adembenemend.
Je zit ook vlak naast Dierenpark Amersfoort.
