Nature and surroundings
Bergslagen - a region full of culture, passion and relaxation in central Sweden. Lake Ölsjön, with its bathing area, sauna, sandy beach and fishing opportunities, is just 500 meters from the house. There are hiking trails and mountain bike routes around Ramsberg. In the village there is a self-service grocery store open around the clock. The nearest larger town, Lindesberg, is about 25 minutes away and has many shops, restaurants and a hospital. The region has been characterized by mining and the production of steel since the Middle Ages, for which Sweden is known far beyond its borders. Today you can visit several historic mines and villages. Shopping enthusiasts will also get their money's worth here: Örebro, the largest city in the region, is just as interesting as the charming and historic Nora, for example. Feel the pulse of Bergslagen and let yourself be seduced and enchanted by the colourful diversity in the heart of Sweden.

Many of the activities such as canoeing and mountain biking as well as horseback riding should be fine nearby. We focused on hiking.
It is a fine log cabin, you are in a kind of vacation park. Beautiful surroundings and especially the wood stove was a welcome luxury. We walked a lot in the neighborhood. Around the lake by the cottage but also by car on the road. Thus, the nature reserve Skärmarbodabergen was highly recommended. We hiked there for two days. The owner is very friendly, on arrival the air conditioning was on and that was pleasant to enter. We spent Christmas here. It was a success.
This text is automatically translated.
