Experience an unforgettable break in our cozy glamping dome, nestled in the unspoiled nature of the Serra d'Arga. The designer retreat Iris d'Arga in Covas / Northern Portugal is an excellent place to relax and recharge and a paradise for nature lovers and adventurers. The dome house of approx. 9m2 was built by the owner João Nunes in the style of Buckminster Fuller and is located on a 1.5 hectare property including the main house, which is rented out to guests and where the owners and their cat also live. The outdoor kitchenette is equipped with basic utensils as well as a 2-burner gas stove and mini-fridge. The private bathroom with outdoor shower is about 50 meters from the Dome. There is a private parking lot for guests and a tent sauna can be rented for 25,-.
Nature and surroundings
The Serra d'Arga invites you to explore picturesque hiking trails or swim in crystal-clear natural lakes, and climbing and mountain biking fans will also get their money's worth. A 30-minute drive will take you to the quiet beaches of Moledo, Afife and Caminha and the warm waters of the nearby Rio Minho are ideal for swimming or water sports. Those interested in culture and history can learn about the history of the region in Ponte de Lima, Braga and Viana do Castelo and experience local traditions such as weekly markets, festivals and concerts that reflect the authentic flair of northern Portugal.
