From our chalet, you can easily walk or bike right into the forests of the Sallandse Heuvelrug, a beautiful nature reserve with vast forests, river dunes, and heathlands. For the kids, Hellendoorn Recreation Park and De Flierefluiter playground are just a 10-minute drive away. The petting zoo in Holten is also highly recommended. Hellendoorn and Nijverdal are charming nearby towns with cozy and excellent restaurants. Also well worth a visit are the typical Hanseatic cities of Deventer and Zwolle, with their authentic streets, many unique shops, museums, theaters, restaurants, cozy outdoor cafes, and markets.

It’s a beautiful spot, and the hot tub is quite an experience. The owners are pleasant to deal with. The cottage is clean and bright. They’ve even thought of those who feel the cold, with blankets by the couch. You can walk or bike right into the woods. There are also plenty of horses in the area and horse trails. Thanks to the hot tub, you can still enjoy the outdoors even when the weather isn’t great. You can use the hot tub both during the day and in the evening, thanks to the lighting in the tub.
