Nature house in Vinkeveen

We had a wonderful time here. It was so peaceful—and it’s just great being on an island. Karin is incredibly kind and a pleasure to be around. We’ll definitely be coming back here.

We hebben het geweldig gehad hier. Wat een rust, en wat top zo op een eiland. Karin is mega aardig en prettig in het contact. Gaan hier zeker een keer terugkomen.

A wonderful and charming little cottage where you can feel completely surrounded by nature. Highly recommended!

We had a wonderful experience at Karin’s nature house! Karin is a very kind and flexible hostess. The cottage was well-equipped, so there was always plenty to do. Among other things, there was a BBQ, SUP boards, lots of games, a fire pit, and more. The location is perfect—it’s very peaceful, and it’s easy to head out by boat. It’s the ultimate in relaxation, and the lounge chairs definitely help with that :).

We hebben een geweldige ervaring gehad in het natuurhuisje van Karin! Karin is een hele fijne en flexibele gastvrouw. Er was veel aanwezig in het huisje, waardoor er altijd eindeloos vermaak was. O.a. een bbq, sup borden, veel spelletjes, vuurschaal etc. De ligging is perfect, er is veel rust en je kan gemakkelijk met de boot op pad. Het is ultiem ontspannen, de ligbedjes helpen hier zeker bij :).

The cottage’s location is perfect. It feels like you’re all alone on the little island (even though there are a few other cottages). The island is a green paradise with stunning views of the lakes. There’s plenty of space in and around the cottage.

De locatie van het huisje is perfect. Het voelt alsof je alleen op het eilandje bent (ook al zijn er nog enkele andere huisjes). Het eiland is een groen paradijs met prachtig uitzicht op de plassen. Er is veel ruimte in en rondom het huisje.

We had a wonderful stay in this authentic, beautiful cottage. There was plenty of space for the six of us, and we were able to really unwind here. The history of the cottage and the surrounding area makes it even more interesting. Karin is a lovely hostess and easy to reach if you have any questions. The little boat is handy for getting out and about. For days spent at the cottage, the SUP boards and swimming in the lake provide tons of fun water activities. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the mosquito net was very handy. The outdoor shower and toilet were a fun, new experience that fit well with the atmosphere. We think the fact that the water comes directly from the lake and the electricity is powered by solar energy fits perfectly with the sustainable character of this nature house. All in all, a fantastic stay! As far as we’re concerned, this cottage should stay open for a very long time—we’d love to come back someday.

We hebben een heerlijk verblijf gehad in dit authentieke, mooie huisje. We hadden genoeg ruimte met z'n zessen en konden hier heel fijn tot rust komen. De historie van het huisje en de omgeving maakt het extra interessant. Karin is een leuke gastvrouw en goed te bereiken bij vragen. Het bootje is handig om eropuit te gaan. Voor de dagen bij het huisje zorgen de supboards en het zwemmen in de plas voor ontzettend leuk watervermaak. De bedden sliepen fantastisch en de klamboe was erg handig. De buitendouche en -wc waren een leuke, nieuwe ervaring die goed pasten bij de sfeer. Dat het water direct uit de plas komt en de elektriciteit werkt op zonne-energie, vinden wij goed passen bij het duurzame karakter van dit natuurhuisje. Al met al een topverblijf! Wat ons betreft blijft dit huisje nog heel lang bestaan, we komen graag een keer terug.

The cottage is in a wonderfully peaceful spot, right in the middle of an island. The fact that you need a boat to get anywhere helps you unwind right away; you don’t have to do a thing. The lake is great for swimming and stand-up paddleboarding. The only aspect of nature that might be a bit of a turn-off for some people are the spiders on the island. Other than that, we’re very happy with the relaxing week we spent on this green island.

Het huisje ligt op een heerlijk rustige plek, midden op een eiland. Het feit dat je een boot nodig hebt om iets te ondernemen, zorgt ervoor dat je direct tot rust komt; je moet even helemaal niets. De plas is erg fijn om in te zwemmen en op te suppen. Het enige stukje natuur dat voor sommige mensen minder fijn kan zijn, zijn de spinnen op het eiland. Verder zijn we heel blij met het weekje ontspanning dat we op dit groene eiland hebben gehad.
