Nature house in Vinkeveen

The equipment is completely adequate and fits in perfectly with the natural experience. However, an honest warning: if you are afraid of spiders, you should be prepared for the fact that there really are a lot of them here. There is also an outdoor shower and an outdoor toilet - for us, this is absolutely in keeping with the adventure character, but it may take some getting used to for more sensitive guests. All in all, a wonderful place for nature lovers who have a bit of an adventurous spirit.

Die Ausstattung ist völlig ausreichend und passt perfekt zum naturnahen Erlebnis. Allerdings eine ehrliche Warnung: Wer Angst vor Spinnen hat, sollte sich darauf einstellen, dass es hier wirklich viele gibt. Außerdem gibt es eine Außendusche und eine Außentoilette – für uns absolut stimmig mit dem Abenteuer-Charakter, für empfindlichere Gäste aber vielleicht gewöhnungsbedürftig.

Alles in allem ein wunderbarer Ort für Naturliebhaber, die ein bisschen Abenteuergeist mitbringen.

We had a truly unforgettable stay in this small, unusual cottage on the island! Even the journey across the lake is an experience in itself, and as soon as you arrive, you immediately feel the special atmosphere. The house itself is charming and simple, but that's what makes it so appealing - you feel like you're in another world. The absolute highlight for us was the location right on the water: the glistening lake in the morning, the silence in the evening, accompanied only by bird calls and the gentle lapping of the water. The evenings around the campfire were particularly beautiful - bread on a stick, conversations into the night and a sky full of stars. Another highlight was our short boat trip to the restaurant on the shore - a relaxing trip across the water and a wonderful end to the day.

Wir hatten einen wirklich unvergesslichen Aufenthalt in diesem kleinen, ausgefallenen Häuschen auf der Insel! Schon die Anreise über den See ist ein Erlebnis für sich, und sobald man ankommt, spürt man sofort die besondere Atmosphäre. Das Haus selbst ist charmant und einfach, aber genau das macht den Reiz aus – man fühlt sich wie in einer anderen Welt.

Das absolute Highlight war für uns die Lage direkt am Wasser: morgens das Glitzern des Sees, abends die Stille, die nur von Vogelrufen und dem leisen Plätschern begleitet wird. Besonders schön waren die Abende am Lagerfeuer – Stockbrot, Gespräche bis in die Nacht und ein Himmel voller Sterne. Ein weiteres Highlight war unsere kleine Bootstour zum Restaurant am Ufer – eine entspannte Fahrt übers Wasser und ein wunderbarer Ausklang des Tages.

We had a nice (rainy) Pentecost weekend. The cottage is halfway between camping and a cottage in that the water from the tap comes directly from the lake, you shower outside and have to arrange your own supply of drinking water from the marina. The floors are clinker and the mosquito nets come in handy. Nice big dining table, wood stove and practical boat to get everywhere. The owner was very friendly and flexible. A nice place to experience Vinkeveen island life in many facets.

Wij hebben een lekker (regenachtig) Pinksterweekend gehad. Het huisje houdt het midden tussen kamperen en een huisje, omdat het water uit de kraan rechtstreeks uit de plas komt, je buiten doucht en zelf je voorraad drinkwater moet regelen vanuit de haven. De vloeren zijn klinkertjes en de klamboes komen goed van pas. Lekkere grote eettafel, houtkachel en praktische boot om overal te komen. De eigenaresse was heel vriendelijk en flexibel. Een fijne plek om het Vinkeveense eilandleven in vele facetten te ervaren.

A nice refurbished old bog hut, in a quiet part of the Vinkeveen lakes. On two sides water, one side with jetty, for boating, swimming and supping. A nice outdoor table, deck chairs and barbecue. Wide view, without being overlooked by other houses. Close to Schiphol Airport, so planes fly low and you hear very regularly.

Een leuk opgeknapte oude veenhut, in een rustig deel van de Vinkeveense plassen. Aan twee kanten water, waarvan een kant met steiger, voor de boot, het zwemmen en het suppen. Een lekkere buitentafel, ligstoelen en barbecue. Wijds uitzicht, zonder inkijk van andere huisjes. Wel dichtbij Schiphol, dus vliegtuigen vliegen laag en hoor je heel regelmatig.

How much we enjoyed the bog cabin! Lovely place for the 6 of us to spend a long weekend! Fireside, playing guitar, bbq and and some water sports, everything was possible on and around the island. Max speed with the boat was about 9km/h. For water sports a bit limiting, but for the rest of the time this also provided peace and quiet. The bog hut has very recently been completely refurbished in style. Karin the hostess is very accessible and helpful. In short, the perfect place to unwind with family or friends. If it was for sale I would know, but unfortunately Karin does not want to sell this gem.

Wat hebben we genoten van de veenhut! Heerlijke plek om met z’n 6en een lang weekend te verblijven! Fikkie stoken, gitaar spelen, bbq en en wat watersport, alles was mogelijk op en rondom het eiland. Max snelheid met de boot was wel zo’n 9km/u. Voor de watersport wat beperkend, maar voor de overige tijd zorgde dit ook voor rust.

De veenhut is zeer recentelijk in stijl helemaal opgeknapt.

Karin de gastvrouw is heel toegankelijk en behulpzaam.

Kortom de perfecte plek om tot rust te komen met familie of vrienden.

Als het te koop was wist ik het wel, maar helaas wil Karin deze parel niet verkopen.
