Welcome to our Nature House - An oasis of peace and comfort We welcome you to our attractive nature house, which has been completely renovated with much love and care. This cottage, once an authentic carriage house and in our family for generations, has now been transformed into a modern and comfortable accommodation, in which the rich history is still tangible. Comfort and sustainability The cottage is equipped with modern insulation and underfloor heating, with which we not only value comfort, but also sustainability. The cozy living room and practical kitchen are fully equipped. You will find an excellent television and modern equipment, such as a combination microwave, induction stove and a nespresso machine, so you can enjoy your stay carefree. On the private terrace you can unwind, with a cup of coffee in the morning sun or a good book in the afternoon. The coach house is suitable for 4 people, tw 2 adults and 2 young adults.
Nature and surroundings
Rest, space and nature can be found in the province of Drenthe! The nature house is located in the peaceful village of Schoonoord, surrounded by green nature. From the living room and the private terrace you can enjoy an unobstructed view of the surrounding fields. In the immediate vicinity you can discover beautiful hiking and cycling routes. A day stage of the Pieterpad can easily be started from Schoonoord. Your bike can be safely stored indoors at our nature house (there is a charging station for electric bicycles and cars.) Besides the three National Parks Drenthe has countless natural areas. So too near Schoonoord, eg The Hondsrug UNESCO and Geopark, the Bargerveen and the Drentsche aa / brook area near Grolloo, etc. In Schoonoord you will find the outdoor museum "Ellert and Brammert" where much can be seen about how people in previous centuries lived and worked. From the museum you walk straight into the Hondsrug landscape - straight up the Sleenerrug, a sand ridge formed here in the ice age.
