Looking for tranquility and sustainable recreation? You can with our self-sufficient houseboat! This means solar panels, showering with filtered water from the lake, pellet stove and equipped with LED lighting. The boat is tastefully decorated and equipped with all the conveniences you need during your vacation. Waking up is a party because from your bed you have a wide view of the beautiful reeds, birds and the lake. In the evening with a drink on the roof terrace watching the sun set and all you hear is ..... babbling water and in the distance a bird. That is optimal enjoyment and that is what you get when you rent this houseboat. Culinary delights in the marina you can enjoy at high-end restaurant Borage. And then perhaps the best part: for even more water fun we rent our Houseboat with a beautiful and brand new boat! The price of the boat is €70.00 per day (normally €150) and is included in extra costs. That makes your stay extra special!
Nature and surroundings
The houseboat is located at the far end of the marina on the Zuidlaardermeer. The beautiful village of Zuidlaren is 10 min cycling. You will find there craft stores and plenty of nice restaurants. On the edge of the beautiful National Park Drentsche Aa lies the Zuidlaardermeer. A relatively quiet and relaxing boating area on the border of Drenthe and Groningen. Here you can enjoy swimming, fishing, supping and surfing from your own boat. Or grab our beautiful new sloop for a picnic on the water or sail to downtown Groningen to grab a terrace. How magnificent is that - something a little different from the water? Here is some inspiration for other activities in the area: Drouwenerzand Amusement Park, Sprookjeshof, Wildlands, Veenhuizen Prison Museum, Drents Museum In addition, you can enjoy hiking, bird watching and various cycling routes in the area, ideal for active nature lovers. In short: a super vacation for everyone from young to old.
