Our cozy back house has and fresh, contemporary look. On the ground floor are room, kitchen, bathroom with toilet. Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one of which contains the double bed. All beds have M-line mattresses. It is located in our little farmhouse where we ourselves live with our sweet labrador Saar. In the yard we have three donkeys and chickens. The back house has its own entrance, sitting area with TV and fully equipped kitchen with induction stove, microwave and washing machine. The space downstairs is heated by underfloor heating and upstairs by a radiator. The two bedrooms are upstairs. Bathroom with toilet are on the ground floor. You can choose to bring your own bed linen and towels or rent it. Rental bed linen (fitted sheet, comforter cover and pillowcases) : €7,50 pp. Towels package : €2,50 pp. Please let us know in advance what you choose.
Nature and surroundings
There is a garden with several seating areas, including one with a fireplace and a view of the farmlands. The fireplace can also be used for outdoor cooking. From the kitchen there is a view of the orchard where the donkeys stand. From our yard it is possible to take a walk (short or long) through the fields and forests of the Drents Landscape. There are also numerous beautiful bicycle routes through the Drenthe and Overijssel landscape. Similarly, on the border between Overijssel and Drenthe, where the river Reest meanders through the landscape and flows into the Black Water near Meppel. Furthermore, a visit to the national park 'Dwingelder veld' is well worth the silence and the sheepfold. In Emmen a visit to Wildlands is also one of the nice trips. Furthermore, for young children there is the 'Drenthe cow' in Ruinerwold which also always provides a special experience. But our yard is also a great place for young and old. Trampoline and swing are favorites.
