In the Brabant village of Liessel on the border of Neerkant and Asten stands the Berkershoeve. The owners Jan and Carmen live and work here. They have an asparagus-growing and processing company, a seasonal shop and camper places. At the front of the farm is the refrigerated- Fresh vending machine in which all kinds of regional products are available. If you go through the Jan Klinkerlaan to the back, you will arrive at day care d'n Hof. The care farm where Carmen Mon-Fri receives vulnerable seniors. Next to d'n Hof are the fully furnished apartments. With a beautiful view over the meadow and of course "the mooing cows". You can take a walk along d'n Hofpad or sit on a bench and enjoy the peace and the view. You may also use the jeu de boules court, or you are welcome to visit the other animals. You can visit the seasonal store from late March through mid-June. It is an authentic, small store. The fresh vending machine is open all year round.

    Nature, peace & environment: 5 /5

Great cottage with everything you need. Except a coffee maker, but I was prepared for it so had brought instant coffee. Super bed and nice and quiet. Exactly what I needed.

Carmen and Jan are ready to answer all your questions. Jan even came to bring us a mosquito plug when we mentioned that we had slept poorly because of it. The surroundings are beautiful and you can walk around the yard freely. Only downside is the noise. So if you have neighbors you can hear them just fine through the wall.

    Nature, peace & environment: 4 /5

Wake up among the mooing cows and crowing roosters in the countryside between Liessel and Neerkant. Small, well-furnished and brand new. There is a 24/7 vending machine with local products (when the seasonal shop is closed) and Carmen and Jan also offer breakfast for 12.50 p.p. It is very quiet. You are far away from public roads. Mind you, it remains a farm and more than once you will see / hear Jan and Carmen early in the morning. There is no coffee machine in the cottage, for some people perhaps a point. Furthermore, it is sometimes a bit noisy if the cottage on the other side (there are 4) is also occupied.
