This nature house (TINY HOUSE) is characterized by its unique location. Located in the former boiler room connected to the main house by a hallway, it has its own entrance through the rural garden and overlooks the adjacent orchard under construction. The cottage has all the comforts you could want for a relaxing overnight stay. Everything is furnished with your well-being in mind, so you will feel right at home.The cottage is comfortably furnished and has a separate dining area with its own crockery and refrigerator/microwave. The excellent double bed consists of separate mattresses with separate comforters. Sustainability is important to us, but so is comfort. Our linen is high quality recycled cotton. Cleaning products are ecological and smell delicious. And in the shower you will find shower foam from a small perfume shop in Ireland...very special! Pets are not allowed.
Nature and surroundings
The Balloërveld nature reserve is a 367-hectare moorland in the municipality of Aa and Hunze, in the Dutch province of Drenthe. The heathland lies on a high plateau between the valleys of the Looner Diep and the Rolderdiep. The predominant heather and grassy heath vegetation is sparsely interspersed with peat lakes, some tufts of pine forest and small sand drifts here and there. The Shepherds of Balloo graze the Balloërveld on behalf of the Forestry Commission. The field is crisscrossed with a network of dirt roads and cart tracks, some of which still date from before the Middle Ages.
