Looking for peace, privacy and fantastic nature? Then come to this nature house, an attractive cottage in a wonderful place to unwind in a casual way. This cottage is the last cottage in a small park, hidden in the woods, bordering a meadow and a wild forest plot. The other cottages are well away. The cottage is accessible via a forest path. A wheelbarrow is available for transportation of luggage etc. Quiet dogs are welcome on a leash. The spacious garden is mostly fenced off with wire netting and a branch wall. The cottage is heated with electric radiators and a wood stove. In the kitchen: fridge/freezer, oven, induction hob, kettle and coffee maker. NB: There is no internet. However, mobile reception and your hotspot work well. Just make sure you have sufficient/unlimited data.
Nature and surroundings
Doorn is located against the National Park Utrechtse Heuvelrug, with endless hiking possibilities. In addition, you can cycle from the vacation park into the countryside for a wonderful tour along the castles and country houses of the Utrechtse Lustwarande. Fun within walking distance are the large park of the National Tree Museum Gimborn and the Bartimeus Tea Garden. In the nearby cozy villages Doorn and Driebergen you will find all possible amenities such as stores, weekly market, bike rental and a variety of restaurants. From NS-station Driebergen-Zeist there is a direct bus connection. The stop is about 10 minutes walk from the cottage. Through this station you can quickly reach Utrecht, among other places.
