What a wonderful week we had at this beautiful location! The surroundings are beautiful and perfect for total relaxation. The first two days we stayed in the treehouse with outdoor shower and toilet. Super nice! A lovely bed, cozy really very special! Unfortunately, our older border collie could not get up and down the stairs, and lifting was not an option. As if that was not enough, it was also getting colder and it kept raining. Tessa immediately jumped into the breach for us and offered us a beautiful ground floor cottage completely free of charge. SO incredibly sweet and compassionate! What a service and hospitality - really beyond all expectations. Thanks to her we were still able to enjoy ourselves immensely. We completely relaxed and spent the remaining days making beautiful autumn walks in this beautiful area. Highly recommended! An absolute must - we would love to come back again!

Wat hebben wij een heerlijke week gehad op deze prachtige locatie! De omgeving is schitterend en perfect om helemaal tot rust te komen.
De eerste twee dagen verbleven we in de boomhut met buitendouche en -toilet. Superleuk! Een heerlijk bed, knus echt heel bijzonder! Helaas kon onze oudere bordercollie de trap niet op en af, en tillen was geen optie. Alsof dat nog niet genoeg was, werd het ook kouder en het bleef maar regenen.
Tessa sprong direct voor ons in de bres en bood ons volledig kosteloos een prachtig gelijkvloers huisje aan. Zó ontzettend lief en meelevend! Wat een service en gastvrijheid – echt boven alle verwachting.
Dankzij haar hebben wij alsnog enorm kunnen genieten. We kwamen helemaal tot rust en hebben de resterende dagen prachtige herfstwandelingen gemaakt in deze mooie omgeving.

The cottage fully met expectations so there are no real downsides.

Het huisje voldeed volledig aan de verwachtingen waardoor er geen echte minpunten zijn.

Wonderful cottage with lots of beautiful nature in the area. The cottage itself is in a very quiet place where you can fully enjoy the singing birds in the morning. We did not even have to go out to go bird watching. Peregrine falcons, buzzards, great spotted woodpeckers, nuthatches, tree creepers, all kinds of tits and even tawny owls could be seen/heard from the property.

Schitterend huisje met veel mooie natuur in de omgeving. Het huisje zelf ligt op een erg rustige plek waar je volop kan genieten van de fluitende vogels in de ochtend. We hoefde niet eens op pad te gaan om vogels te gaan kijken. Slechtvalken, buizerds, grote bonte spechten, boomklevers, boomkruipers, alle soorten mezen en zelfs bosuilen vanaf het terrein te zien/te horen.

What do you think of this review - what a special place to stay! Our treehouse vacation was an experience we can't forget. From the first moment it felt like a warm welcome: lots of privacy, a private entrance and a beautiful piece of land all to ourselves. Everything was completely present, the garden and the nature around it breathed peace and beauty. You notice that with care and love a nice atmosphere has been created, which makes you feel right at home. The only point of attention is the small toilet. By choosing a normal toilet, the tent is too cramped and therefore not really practical for anyone. Legs out and tent open. Fortunately we had dry weather, because unfortunately the canvas smells strongly of urine. This is something that can be improved for the ultimate experience. Otherwise, the stay was really fantastic! A place where you can really unwind and enjoy simplicity, nature and coziness. Highly recommended for anyone who wants a unique, loving

Wat vind je van deze recensie?

Wat een bijzondere plek om te verblijven! Onze boomhutvakantie was een ervaring die we niet kunnen vergeten. Vanaf het eerste moment voelde het als een warm welkom: veel privacy, een eigen ingang en een prachtig stuk grond helemaal voor ons alleen. Alles was compleet aanwezig, de tuin en de natuur eromheen ademen rust en schoonheid. Je merkt dat er met zorg en liefde een fijne sfeer is gecreëerd, waardoor je je meteen thuis voelt. Heel prettig.

Het enige puntje van aandacht is het wc-tentje. Door de keuze voor een normaal toilet is het tentje te krap en daardoor eigenlijk voor niemand echt praktisch. Benen buiten en tentje open. Gelukkig hadden we droog weer, want het doek ruikt helaas sterk naar urine. Dit is iets dat nog verbeterd kan worden voor een ultieme ervaring.

Verder was het verblijf werkelijk fantastisch! Een plek waar je echt tot rust komt en geniet van eenvoud, natuur en gezelligheid. Een aanrader voor iedereen die een unieke, liefdevolle
