Nature house in Kevelaer

The Michelshof is a historic farmhouse dating back to 1880. It is situated in a beautiful, secluded location at the end of a long oak-lined avenue, surrounded by meadows and fields. The Michelshof manor house has two stories and a total of approximately 400 square meters of living space. Each floor features an approximately 80-square-meter kitchen-dining area. The house has 11 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (one of which is wheelchair-accessible), a separate restroom, and a utility room with a washer and dryer. The large garden includes a terrace and a barbecue area. The “Gartenblick” floor is located on the ground floor of the manor house and is wheelchair-accessible. It measures approximately 250 m² and can accommodate up to 10 people with 5 bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen.

From the Michelshof, you can take the Michelsweg directly to the historic pilgrimage town of Kevelaer, located 3 km away. Located right near the Rouenhof (a 5-minute bike ride away), you’re always welcome there. You can see who can bleat louder than the goats or enjoy life on a paddle tour or a farm tour. You can grab a bite to eat at our farm café. Kervenheim is located right on the “Lower Rhine Route.” Exploring the surrounding area by bike (known as a “Fiets” in the Lower Rhine region) is a wonderful way to see the area—perhaps even pop over to neighboring Holland or say hello to the Rhine? The Kalkar nuclear power plant—which, fortunately, never went into operation and is now a recreational park—and “Irrland” in Twisteden are also popular family destinations. We’re happy to rent out bicycles, with or without electric assistance, for exploring the Lower Rhine region.
