Nature house in Gennep

The mobile home was in a fantastic place, in the middle of greenery and with birds whistling all day around us.

De pipowagen stond op een fantastische plek, midden in het groen en met de hele dag fluitende vogels om ons heen.

The Tiny is remarkably spacious and fully equipped. Coffee, tea, spices, linens, everything I needed was there. There is hot water and electricity, of course this is not as stable as at home but that just adds to the vacation feeling. There is so little light pollution that it is really dark at night. So tip, bring a (flash) light in case you need to go to the bathroom at night. The shower, found near the communal kitchen, is hot and powerful enough to get nice and clean. And if there is anything, landlord Jeroen is always nearby or easily accessible, an app and it is quickly arranged. I was looking for lots of greenery, relaxation, simplicity and clarity, and I found that here. Highly recommended to me and I will definitely come back!

De Tiny is opvallend ruim en van alle gemakken voorzien. Koffie, thee, kruiden, linnengoed, alles wat ik nodig had was aanwezig. Er is warm water en elektriciteit, natuurlijk is dit niet zo stabiel als thuis maar dat geeft juist een extra vakantiegevoel. Er is zo weinig lichtvervuiling dat het ‘s nachts echt donker is. Dus tip, neem een (zak)lampje mee voor het geval je ‘s nachts naar de wc moet. De douche, te vinden bij de gemeenschappelijke keuken, is warm en krachtig genoeg om lekker schoon te worden. En als er iets is dan is verhuurder Jeroen altijd in de buurt of makkelijk bereikbaar, een appje en het is snel geregeld.
Ik was op zoek naar veel groen, ontspanning, eenvoud en overzichtelijkheid, en dat heb ik hier gevonden. Wat mij betreft een aanrader en ik kom zeker terug!

A greener than green environment is what I was looking for and I found it here. Lounging in the sun looking out over the dandelions, fluttering butterflies, listening to birds singing and following a passing lazy bumblebee in search of something tasty. As far as I'm concerned, the place to get completely relaxed. Outside the "estate" is also very green with many hiking and biking trails. Be careful, stumble once and you are in Germany, and Gennep itself is within walking distance. I met only friendly people and came back with a bucket full of good tips that I can fill a few more vacations with.

Een groener dan groene omgeving, daar was ik naar op zoek en dat heb ik hier gevonden. Lekker in het zonnetje uitkijkend over de paardebloemen, fladderende vlinders, luisterend naar fluitende vogeltjes en het volgen van een voorbijgaande luie hommel op zoek naar iets lekkers. Wat mij betreft de plek om volledig ontspannen te raken.
Ook buiten het ‘landgoed’ is het heel groen met veel wandel- en fietspaden. Let op, een keer struikelen en je staat in Duitsland.
Gennep zelf is op loopafstand. Ik ben alleen maar vriendelijke mensen tegengekomen en met een bak vol goede tips teruggekomen waarmee ik nog een paar vakanties mee kan vullen.
