The Oehoe is located in a spacious spot in the woods, on a Nature Campground, on a stream that flows into a pingo lake. Full of story and creative reuse, this Boshuisje offers comfort for every season and weather. On warm summer evenings you can cook outside, relax in the hammock or float on the water. The fully insulated cottage is equipped with ecological insulation, making it comfortable all year round. In the cooler periods, underfloor heating and the wood-burning stove ensure that you can retreat there. And you can also enjoy the campfire outside under a starry sky! The accommodation is basic but complete, with fridge and cooking facilities, both inside and outside. Double bed + 2 sofa beds (especially for children). Furthermore: a picnic bench, two lounge chairs, a hammock and a private cottage with off-grid toilet. Besides you the sanitary facilities of the nature campsite.

The Oehoe stands in a quiet part of the forest Nature Campground (where there is no camping facility) so you step into the forest from your front door, and already see the squirrels jumping by. Tip: waterfront sauna bar, breakfast and in season dinners If you explore the area outside the Nature Campground where the OeHoe stands, you will enter the area known as the Hondsrug, which has even been awarded UNESCO World Heritage status. This strip, stretching from Emmen to Groningen, was formed in part by ice ages and offers much information about this story in the landscape itself. You will find plenty of greenery and numerous discovery spots for hikers and cyclists. From the water, while canoeing or paddling, you will experience everything in a completely different way. For an adrenaline kick, visit the climbing forest or the ski jump at nearby Gasselterplas.
