At this nature house you can enjoy a relaxing stay in beautiful central Portugal. Escape the daily grind and enjoy a wonderful vacation in a cozy house. The private entrance has a traditional green ceiling. The house has three bedrooms, 1 master bedroom with a double bed and 2 smaller ones with a single bed each. The bathroom is cozy and has a sink, toilet and large walk-in shower. In the spacious living room there is a sitting area with wood-burning stove, a dining area and kitchen with a refrigerator, electric stove with oven, coffee maker and kettle, there is a wood-burning stove and electric heaters. For cooling there is an air-conditioning unit and there are fans. At the water-basin (private use) there is a sunny terrace with sun beds and cushions. In summer there is a shady pergola with dining table and relaxing chairs. Bed linen, hand and tea towels are provided, as well as pool towels.
Nature and surroundings
The house is quietly located on the edge of the authentic hamlet of Matos, in the region of Ferreira do Zêzere, close to the imposing city of Tomar, between Lisbon and Coimbra. The coast with its beaches in the west, is an hour's drive away. In the east you will find beautiful lakes less than 20 minutes away, where you can swim.There are no other guests, so the terrace, garden and pool are for private use.The owner lives in another part of the building, at the back and will respect your privacy.Nearby is the Caminho de Santiago, from Tomar to Coimbra. There is a special rate for these hikers in winter. Around the nature house you can make beautiful walks. Nearby is even the Caminho de Santiago, from Tomar to Coimbra. For these hikers special rates apply in winter. You can also take a walk in the garden, past the olive trees, the pear trees and the vineyard.
