COMFORTABLE BUNGALOW - BEAUTIFULLY GROWN. The single-storey bungalow is built and clad in regional silver fir wood. The wooden windows are triple-glazed and clad in aluminium. The green roof serves as a so-called green air conditioning system and supports a balanced indoor climate. Insects and birds also enjoy this green oasis of calm. Special attention was paid to ecological materials, such as the insulation, and waste paper was recycled. A mineral wall plaster was used in the rooms which is breathable, absorbs moisture and releases it again, thus optimizing the indoor climate. As we cannot generate enough energy efficiently with solar panels on the small roof area, we decided to use a verifiably regional and ecological energy provider. The entire house is heated electrically with modern infrared heaters.
Nature and surroundings
The Linzgau region in the beautiful hinterland of Lake Constance is surrounded by forests, orchards and a very harmonious landscape. Lake Constance, with its magnificent Alpine panorama and countless opportunities to be active, is a vacation paradise in southern Germany. Our studios are located in the resort of Frickingen in the Altheim district, in the quiet retreat zone in the Salem valley, just a few kilometers from the tourist hustle and bustle on the shores of Lake Constance. One of the 'sights' is the Frickingen fruit trail, whose romantic path leads right past the front door. Surrounded by beautiful nature, you can simply relax. We also have plenty of culinary delights to offer, in particular the well-known Löwen restaurant, located at the foot of the village church, which has been inviting guests to feast for over 400 years. The beautiful terrace is particularly recommended for sitting and enjoying. There are numerous lovely farm stores.
