The small, cozy cabin (Lillstuga) has a small sauna (max. 2 people), a kitchenette, a shower, and a toilet. It sleeps 4 people: one room with 2 single beds and 2 bunk beds in the living room. It’s also suitable for smaller groups if you rent both cabins (large cabin = sleeps 6). The kitchenette also includes a toaster and a scale. The furnishings (furniture, lamps, appliances) have been updated with secondhand items. In the boathouse by the lake (approx. 200 m (?) away), there are 2 bicycles, 3 paddleboats, and 2 old surfboards with long paddles for SUP trips. There is a small grill, outdoor seating, and patio furniture. Depending on the season: blueberries, black currants, and mushrooms near the house; cloudberries on the fjäll. Upon request, bed linens (14 €) may be available for rent, and a final cleaning service may be offered.
Nature and surroundings
Great for activities in the mountains and by the lake: Cabin – Särna = about 5–10 minutes by car or bike, about 30 minutes by boat or cross-country skis. There’s a supermarket, a gas station, a church, restaurants, and shops there. You can rent snowmobiles in Särna. In winter, you can go cross-country skiing behind the house (no marked trails). Nearby, there are additional cross-country ski trails (Kringelfjorden, Idrefjäll), ski resorts (Idrefjäll, Fjätervalen, Himmelfjäll), groomed snowmobile trails, mountain trails for hiking, Sweden’s highest waterfall (Njupeskär-Vattenfall), Old Tjikko (the world’s oldest known single tree clone), and a moose park (about a 15-minute drive away), where dog sled rides are also offered in winter. Electric cars: There is a charging station for electric cars at the gas station in Särna. HVO diesel: Available in Särna. Traveling without a car: You can travel to Särna by train and bus without a car and then walk 2–3 km to the vacation home.

Free cancellation within 7 days of your booking confirmation, provided the booking request was made more than 28 days before the start date. For bookings starting within 28 days, free cancellation applies within 24 hours. If you cancel within the specified period, you are entitled to a full refund of the booking amount.
After that, you will receive a partial refund of the trip cost and a 100% refund of the deposit:
• Up to 42 days before arrival: 70% refund
• 42–28 days before arrival: 40% refund
• 28 days through the day of arrival: 10% refund
• On the day of arrival or later: no refund
A deposit of €300.00 applies. You will be refunded after check-out.
