Nature house in Froidchapelles

If I ever would go here again I would like to know if the house has been completely renovated, and not with the French stroke is done as is now the case. The area around the cottage is nice and quiet and the lake at the cottage in the valley is easy to fish and have also caught some nice specimens including the rare White finned river goby But if you have difficulty walking the descent to the lake is not to do!The environment in a radius of 70 KM there are beautiful things to see such as abbeys and castles dam etc etc. Also you are close to France So the area offers plenty of variety.

Als ik ooit hier nog naar toe zou gaan dan zou ik graag info hebben of het huisje compleet gerenoveerd is.
En niet met de Franse slag is gebeurd zoals nu het geval is.

De omgeving van het huisje is wel lekker rustig en het meertje bij het huisje onder in het dal is goed bevisbaar en heb hier dan ook mooie exemplaren gevangen waaronder ook het zeldzame Witvinriviergrondeltje

Maar mocht je slecht ter been zijn is de afdaling naar het meertje niet te doen!!!

De omgeving in de een straal van 70 KM zijn er mooie dingen te zien zoals abdijen en kastelen Stuwdam etc etc.

Tevens zit je vlak bij Frankrijk Dus de omgeving biedt Variatie genoeg.

Cottage is quietly located, Upon arrival there were 2 bottles of beer and a bag of chips ready, but too bad there was not a bottle of coke or spa red ready, some people do not drink alcohol. the cottage smells very musty and has a lot of overdue maintenance. the left bedroom smells like a mice / Rats (which you also hear morning gnawing. the right bedroom just smells very damp / Musty. the kitchen is okay it is a simple Ikea kitchen is poorly assembled (back plate / splash plate v hob is loose. The Oven is not fixed so you pull with opening the oven almost out (put two screws) the bathroom is very small the toilet is almost impossible to use because it is very narrow. the fireplace in the room must be swept because the chimney does not draw, there is a valve built in that you can open or close but it does not work. Also, the neighbor with the dogs (who do not listen and constantly barking) on the site along the cottage. (very restless)

Huisje is rustig gelegen,

Bij aankomst stonden er 2 flesjes bier en een zakje chips klaar , maar jammer dat er niet een fles cola of spa rood klaar stond, sommige mensen drinken geen alcohol.
het huisje ruikt erg muf en heeft veel achterstallig onderhoud.
de linkse slaapkamer ruikt naar een muizen / Ratten (die je morgensvroeg ook hoort knagen.
de rechtse slaapkamer ruikt gewoon erg vochtig / Muf.
de keuken is oké het is een simpele Ikea keuken die slecht gemonteerd is ( achterplaat / spetterplaat v kookplaat zit los. de Oven is niet vastgezet dus je trekt met opendoen de over er bijna uit ( ff twee schroeven plaatsen )
de badkamer is erg klein de wc is bijna niet te gebruiken omdat het erg smal is.
de openhaard in de kamer moet geveegd worden omdat de schoorsteen niet trekt, er zit een klep ingebouwd die je open of dicht kan zetten maar die werkt niet.
Tevens loopt de buurvrouw met de honden (die niet luisteren en constant blaffen) over het terrein langs het huisje. (erg onrustig)

Fine to stay! Perfect handy kitchen, good rooms, nice terrace... in the middle of nowhere! Furnishing retro and cozy. Do not expect luxury, but simplicity.

Fijn om te verblijven!
Perfecte handige keuken, goede kamers, fijn terras… in the middel of nowhere!
Inrichting retro en gezellig. Verwacht geen luxe, wel eenvoud.

The necessary facilities were present: good wifi, equipped kitchen, terrace . For me there was 1 minus point: It was very hot weather and due to lack of insect repellent mesh it was not possible to ventilate the house without bringing a lot of insects inside. Should this be fixed I would definitely be interested in returning.

De nodige faciliteiten waren aanwezig: goeie wifi , uitgeruste keuken , terras .

Voor mij was er 1 minpuntje: Het was heel warm weer en door ontbreken van insectenwerend gaas was het niet mogelijk het huisje te verluchten zonder heel veel insecten binnen te halen. Mocht dit opgelost worden dan zou ik zeker geïnteresseerd zijn om terug te keren.

The environment of the cottage is beautiful, quiet and 100% privacy, I totally relaxed.

De omgeving van het huisje is prachtig, stil en 100% privacy.
Ik ben er helemaal tot rust gekomen.
