Nature house in Langerak

What a beautiful cozy and functional cottage. Very cozy and nice! With the heat pump on solar panels you have it so nice and warm or cool! Also a good kitchen to do some cooking yourself! Top!

Right on the Lek and overlooking beautiful south Holland grassland with willows! Owl, sparrow hawk, hares and geese as a view! (Not at the same time)

Pal aan de Lek en uitkijkend over prachtige zuid Hollands grasland met wilgen!. Uil, sperwer, hazen en ganzen als uitzicht! (Niet tegelijk)

With two young children, it would have been helpful to know that the single beds were in an open attic, with an open staircase and low walls. Obviously we couldn't let them sleep there, so then we crawled into those beds ourselves. From the photos or description, this was not apparent. The pictures of the pizza in the oven outside made us want to bake it ourselves. Be sure to provide your own wood if you want to do the same: it is not available. The kitchen is well equipped and there is a basic of coffee, spices and oil. Nearby is a small supermarket that has everything you need.

Met twee jonge kinderen was het handig geweest om te weten dat de eenpersoonsbedden op een open zolder stonden, met een open trap en lage muren. Daar konden we hen uiteraard niet laten slapen, dus dan maar zelf in die bedden gekropen. Uit de foto's of beschrijving viel dat niet af te leiden. Met oudere kinderen is dat wel geen probleem.

Door de foto's van de pizza in de oven buiten zagen we ons al zelf aan het bakken slaan. Zorg wel zelf voor hout als jij dat ook wil doen: dat is namelijk niet voorhanden.

De keuken is goed uitgerust en er is een basis van koffie, kruiden en olie. Vlakbij ligt een kleine supermarkt die al het nodige heeft.

The cottage was nicely located on a sheep pasture and with a beautiful view over the meadow, but unfortunately also right on a busy road. This did make biking/hiking with two small children a bit stressful. Nearby there are fine places to visit. The cottage is cozy and airy and is quite well equipped.

Het huisje was fijn gelegen aan een schapenweide en met een prachtig uitzicht over het weiland, maar helaas ook vlak aan een drukke weg. Dat maakte het fietsen/wandelen met twee kleine kinderen wel spannend.

Vlakbij liggen er fijne plekken om te bezoeken.

Het huisje is gezellig en luchtig ingericht en is vrij goed uitgerust.

We had a wonderful weekend in the cozy warm cottage. Enjoyed the Christmas atmosphere and the Christmas tree, the free coffee and tea and the thoughtful decor. Nice right on the dike and in the backyard beautiful views of the countryside.

We hebben een heerlijk weekend gehad in het gezellige warme huisje. Genoten van de kerstsfeer en de kerstboom, de gratis koffie en thee en de doordachte inrichting. Leuk direct aan de dijk en in de achtertuin prachtig uitzicht op de landerijen.
