Nature house in Blankenheim

In winter unfortunately very draughty and cold underfoot in the living area. Small couch, too small for 5-6 people. Room layout also difficult for more than 2 couples.

Im Winter leider sehr zugig und fußkalt im Wohnbereich. Kleine Couch, für 5-6 Menschen zu klein. Raumaufteilung für mehr als 2 Paare ebenfalls schwierig.

Beautiful location, ideal for hiking.

Wunderschöne Lage, ideal zum Wandern.

The house is beautiful and nice and clean. Lovely beds and very good bedding. Nice fireplace. Good heating in all rooms. You have a beautiful view of the garden and surrounding trees. Nice towns nearby. We were in late December. Unfortunately, few restaurants or Stuben open then. But nature iks fantastic. You really come here to rest. Only minus point is the kitchen equipment: there is a lot of stuff but not really practical (did not find any fitting lid for example)

Het huis is mooi en lekker schoon. Heerlijke bedden en heel goed beddengoed. Mooie open haard. Goede verwarming in alle vertrekken. Je hebt een prachtig uitzicht op de tuin en de omliggende bomen. Leuke plaatsjes in de buurt. We waren eind december. Helaas zijn er dan weinig restaurantjes of Stuben open. Maar de natuur iks fantastisch. Je komt hier echt tot rust. Enige minpunt is de keukenuitrusting: er staat heel veel spul maar niet echt praktisch (geen enkele passende deksel gevonden bijvoorbeeld)

je kunt direct wandelen vanuit het huis; de nachten zijn perfect donker en het is er ongelooflijk stil

Very nice and cozy cottage. However, we arrived in the dark and only after we drove down to the cottage did we see that there was a paper hanging on the tree just in German telling us not to drive downstairs due to the pebbles that could slip under the tires. With much effort and help we got the car back up. Everything else was fine. Super cozy cottage and really everything you could possibly need was there! We will definitely recommend this cottage.

Heel leuk en gezellig huisje. Echter, wij zijn aangekomen in het donker en pas nadat we naar beneden naar het huisje zijn gereden, zagen we dat er een papier aan de boom hong enkel in het Duits met de melding dat we niet naar beneden mochten rijden ivm de kiezels die onder de banden konden slippen. Met veel moeite en hulp hebben we de wagen terug boven gekregen. Het had handig geweest als dit op voorhand gemeld was.

Voor de rest was alles in orde. Super gezellig huisje en echt alles wat je maar kon nodig hebben was aanwezig! We zullen dit huisje zeker aanraden.

Very beautiful and quiet area. Seen deer in the morning right behind the cottage and also squirrels and several birds. It is also wonderful stargazing. With a short walk you get to a stargazing point. I think this was the highlight point for us of the area anyway.

Heel mooie en rustige omgeving. In de ochtend herten gezien vlak achter het huisje en ook eekhoorns en verschillende vogels. Het is ook prachtig sterrenkijken. Met een korte wandeling kom je bij een sterrenuitkijkpunt. Ik denk dat dit toch wel het hoogtepunt punt was voor ons van de omgeving.
