Nature house in Eben-Emael

The only strange thing was that when we left, we suddenly had to pay 5 euros tourist tax when nothing had been said about it beforehand. I would have expected this to be included in the cost of the booking. So this felt like the host wanted to extort some money from us. Response from host: Dear Brecht, What a pity that you have had the feeling that we wanted to charge you something extra `s. This is obviously not the case. Perhaps you do not often go to a hotel or B & B. I think it is so that everywhere tourist tax should be paid. I did look directly at the page of nature house and there I had not mentioned it, sorry for that. This is therefore immediately amended. Kind regards Marga

Het enige vreemde was dat we bij het vertrekken opeens 5 euro toeristenbelasting moesten betalen terwijl daar op voorhand niets over gezegd was. Ik zou verwachten dat dit al in de kost van de boeking opgenomen zou zijn. Dus dit voelde aan alsof de host ons nog snel wat geld wilde aftroggelen.

Wat jammer dat jullie het gevoel hebben gehad dat we jullie iets extra`s wilden laten betalen.
Dit is uiteraard niet het geval.
Wellicht gaan jullie niet vaak naar een hotel of B&B.
Volgens mij is het zo dat er overal toeristenbelasting betaald dient te worden.
Ik ben wel direct gaan kijken op de pagina van Natuurhuisje en daar had ik dat idd niet vermeld, excuus daarvoor.
Dit is dan ook direct aangepast.

Very nice room of a B&B. The host took very good care of us. Everything was super: The breakfast, the room, the jacuzzi, the garden. She also gave super good tips to go hiking

Zeer leuke kamer van een B&B. De host heeft ons heel goed verzorgd. Alles was super: Het ontbijt, de kamer, de jacuzzi, de tuin.

Ze heeft ook supergoede tips gegeven om te gaan wandelen

Lovely swimming- sat in the jacuzzi and breakfast is fantastic.Very luxurious bedroom with lovely bed! Marga and Marco are very hospitable and friendly

Heerlijk gezwommen- in de jacuzzi gezeten en ontbijt is fantastische.
Hele luxe slaapkamer met heerlijk bed!
Marga en Marco zijn heel gastvrij en vriendelijk

Beautiful surroundings- from the garden you look against the Belgian St Pieters mountain. Very quiet and beautiful walking and cycling. Maastricht is 30 min cycling mostly on a beautiful bike path.

Prachtige omgeving- uit de tuin kijk je tegen de Belgische St Pieters berg aan. Heel stil en mooi wandelen en fietsen. Maastricht is 30 min fietsen grotendeels over een prachtig fietspad.
