Nature house in Susteren

The cottage is practically brand-new and very practically furnished. Everything you need is provided.
It’s located on its own plot of land where you can relax on the grass.
The hosts, Hans and Christel, are incredibly helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

Het huisje is vrijwel nieuw en heel practisch ingericht. Alles wat je nodig hebt is voorhanden.
Het ligt op een eigen stuk grond waar je heerlijk in het gras kunt zitten.
De hosts Hans en Christel zijn super behulpzaam. We hebben echt genoten.

We're really excited about the location. It's wonderfully peaceful on the outskirts of the village of Susteren, with a large lawn all to ourselves. The surrounding area is great for biking. You can be in Belgium or Germany in no time.

Wij zijn heel enthousiast over de locatie. Heerlijk rustig aan de rand van het dorp Susteren met een groot grasveld helemaal voor onszelf. In de omgeving kun je geweldig fietsen. Je bent zo in België en in Duitsland.

The nature house is beautifully and cozily furnished, with a strong focus on ecology and natural products. Everything you need is provided in the kitchen and bathroom (a quick tip: a small dish rack might have been handy). You can eat indoors or outdoors, and there’s also a fire pit and a BBQ. It’s an ideal base for hikes and for popping across the border to the westernmost point of Germany or to the shopping center in Tüddern.
All of this comes with a warm welcome from the hosts, who live right next to the Tiny house and are always available if you have any questions. We also had a lovely farewell when we left. In short, the Tiny house in Susteren brings you “instant happiness”!

Het natuurhuisje is heel mooi en gezellig ingericht met veel aandacht voor ecologie & natuurproducten. Alles in aanwezig in de keuken en badkamer (kleine tip: een klein afdruiprekje zou misschien handig geweest zijn). Je kan binnen of buiten eten en er is ook een vuurkorf en BBQ. Ideale uitvalsbasis voor wandelingen en om de grens even over te steken naar het meest westelijke punt van Duitsland of naar het shoppingcenter van Tüddern.
Dit alles met een warme ontvangst door de gastheer en gastvrouw die naast het tiny house wonen en steeds bereikbaar zijn als je vragen hebt. Ook bij het vertrek was er een fijn afscheid. Kortom, het tiny house van Susteren bezorgt je "instant happiness"!

Its exceptionally peaceful setting in the heart of nature made it the ideal place to unwind for a few days and leave all the hustle and bustle behind. The only sounds we heard were the many garden birds (we even spotted a little owl!) and the bleating of the sheep in the pasture next to the Tiny house. It was wonderfully relaxing in the hammocks, the wood-fired hot tub, and the lounge chairs in the large garden with a lawn bordered by tall deciduous trees—it was also nice to gaze at the starry sky in the evening under a warm fleece blanket. We left feeling completely recharged.

De bijzonder rustige ligging midden in de natuur maakte het de ideale plek om een paar dagen te onthaasten en alle drukte achter je te laten. De enige geluidjes die we hoorden waren de vele tuinvogels (zelfs een steenuil gespot!) en het geblaat van de schaapjes in de wei naast het tiny house. Het was heerlijk ontspannen in de hangmatten, de houtgestookte hot tub en de ligstoelen in de grote tuin met gazon omzoomd door hoge loofbomen, leuk ook om er 's avonds naar de sterrenhemel te kijken onder een warm fleecedekentje. Onze batterijtjes waren helemaal terug opgeladen bij ons vertrek.

We had three blissful days in Hans and Christel's tinyhouse. From the moment we arrived we felt immediately welcomed by their sincere hospitality and warm welcome. This cottage is an absolute must for those who want to enjoy the little things together, the silence and the happiness of the moment.

We hebben drie zalige dagen gehad in het tinyhouse van Hans en Christel. Vanaf het moment dat we aankwamen voelden we ons direct welkom door hun oprechte gastvrijheid en warme ontvangst. Dit huisje is een absolute aanrader voor wie samen wil genieten van de kleine dingen, de stilte en het geluk van het moment.

Two nights felt almost like two weeks of relaxation. This place is perfect for unwinding, slowing down and fully enjoying yourself. The garden was an oasis of peace surrounded by chestnut trees, sheep and lots of greenery. We enjoyed the lovely hot tub and the cozy place to light a fire. The new tinyhouse itself exceeded all our expectations: it was truly fully equipped, from fine cooking utensils to soft blankets that made it extra cozy. The kitchen and bar area are large enough for fine dining or extended breakfasts. The cottage also offers enough space to retreat, for example with a nice book (of which there are many beautiful titles). Everything radiated care and attention.

Twee nachten voelden bijna als twee weken ontspanning. Dit plekje is perfect om tot rust te komen, te vertragen en volop te genieten. De tuin was een oase van rust, omringd door kastanjebomen, schapen en veel groen. We hebben genoten van de heerlijke hottub en het gezellige plekje om een vuurtje te maken. Het nieuwe tinyhouse zelf overtrof al onze verwachtingen: het was werkelijk van alle gemakken voorzien, van fijne kookspullen tot zachte dekentjes die het extra knus maakten. De keuken en het barretje zijn groot genoeg om lekker te tafelen of om uitgebreid te ontbijten. Het huisje biedt bovendien genoeg ruimte om je even terug te trekken, bijvoorbeeld met een mooi boek (waar er heel wat mooie titels van liggen). Alles straalde zorg en aandacht uit.
