Nature house in IJhorst

The cottage is in a beautiful area and is also very nice inside. We really liked the bird theme in the cottage and the rooms were clean and nice. All the necessities for a pleasant stay are provided, such as a dishwasher and a coffee machine. We also liked the luxury of drinking coffee from the l'or coffee machine for a weekend. The park where the cottage is located also has many fun things to do for children and adults.

Het huisje ligt in een prachtige omgeving en is ook heel mooi van binnen. Wij vonden het vogel thema in het huisje heel leuk en de kamers waren netjes en fijn. Alle benodigdheden voor een prettig verblijf zijn aanwezig, zoals een vaatwasser en een koffiemachine. Wij vonden het ook wel leuk om een weekend luxe koffie te drinken uit het l'or koffieapparaat. Het park waar het huisje staat heeft ook veel leuke dingen om te doen voor kinderen en volwassenen.

The cottage is located in a beautiful area, where you can go hiking and biking very nicely. The cottage is located on the edge of the park, making it nice and quiet and you can walk straight into the woods!

Het huisje ligt in een prachtige omgeving, waar je heel mooi kunt wandelen en fietsen. Het huisje ligt gelegen aan de rand van het park, waardoor het lekker rustig is en je zo de bossen in loopt!

The house was very cozy. We loved that the kitchen and living room were together, making it a great spot to hang out. With 7 people in the house, it's definitely full as the bedrooms are small and only 1 bathroom, but definitely doable for a little getaway. We enjoyed being so close to the forest! The vibe was very relaxed in the neighborhood, too. The one thing I'd note is that there is only a microwave oven and not a full oven, so don't plan to make any big oven dishes (like we had haha). But the gas stovetop was huge and great! The owners are also very kinda and communicative. Would definitely reccommed!

Within 5 steps, you're in the forest! We went in autumn, and the colors were beautiful. The forest has many trails to wander around for hours. We had a lovely time. The neighborhood is very quiet, and you can hear the birds singing throughout the day. :)

Cozy cottage, equipped with almost all amenities. Quiet place with many trees. Only a few minor points of improvement to mention: Slagboom of the park does not open all night. A freezer would really be a good addition in the summer. Wifi is not available throughout the cottage (We found a plus, but the adolescents obviously a bummer) Response from landlord: Thanks for your kind words. In the meantime we have installed a fridge-freezer and improved the wifi so that there is good wifi throughout the cottage.

Knus huisje, van bijna alle gemakken voorzien. Rustig plekje met veel bomen. Slechts een paar minor verbeterpuntjes te noemen:
Slagboom van het park gaat niet de hele nacht open.
Een vriesvakje zou echt een goede toevoeging zijn in de zomer.
Wifi is niet overal in het huisje beschikbaar (Vonden wij een pre, maar de pubers uiteraard een domper)

Bedankt voor jullie lieve woorden. In de tussentijd hebben we een koel-vries combinatie geplaatst en de wifi verbetert zodat in het gehele huisje goede wifi is.

Lovely quiet cottage! We held our hearts when we drove into the quite noisy park, but you notice nothing of that at the cottage itself! Enjoyed 2 weeks as a family with 3 adolescents. Fine that each had its own room. With two steps you are in the woods and you can enjoy walking. Friendly owners who are easy to reach and solve problems quickly. Tip: check whether there are excursions planned with the ranger of the Forestry Commission!

Heerlijk rustig huisje! We hielden ons hart vast toen we het best luidruchtige park opreden, maar daar merk je bij het huisje zelf niets van! 2 Weken prima genoten als gezin met 3 pubers. Fijn dat ieder zijn eigen kamer had.
Met twee passen sta je in het bos en kun je heerlijk wandelen.
Vriendelijke eigenaren die goed te bereiken zijn en problemen snel oplossen.
Tip: kijk eens of er excursies gepland zijn met de boswachter van staatsbosbeheer!
