This cozy studio (20m2) located in a quiet, eco neighborhood is a nice place to explore the south of Overijssel, Deventer and the floodplains of the IJssel, nature reserve the Duursche Waarden is a must. But this is also a place to unwind. The room has quiet colors, a wooden ceiling, long linen curtains, cozy lamps and a large table for work, to draw or muse. There is a tiny shower, sink and toilet in lockable room. There is a double bed (140 cm wide). A stocked bookshelf and a CD player. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, cooking utensils and other necessities. Cooking can be done on a 1-burner stove. A small refrigerator is provided. From the armchair overlooks a natural garden with an emphasis on edibility. South-facing sliding doors. Terrace shaded by fig. The studio is located on the corner of one of the south-facing houses of the earth house neighborhood.
Nature and surroundings
The Earthhouse neighborhood in Olst is a paradise in the green. The neighborhood built by the residents themselves is car-free. The Earth Houses have their own drinking water source, reed bed for waste water and a carport. In consultation you can charge your electric car there.For the children there is a trampoline and within walking distance is a spacious natural playground.Through the food forest you walk to the wooded estates of Olst or to the IJssel. You can cycle through the floodplains of the IJssel, to hanseatic city Deventer (10 km), Wijhe (8 km) or to the woods of Diepenveen. Several natural swimming spots are located at 15 min cycling and in both Wijhe and Deventer are outdoor swimming pools. The cozy Deventer is definitely worth a visit. Catering and rest stops can be found along the way at farms, Kasteel de Haere, Nieuw Rande or in Diepenveen. Olst train station -where public transport bikes can be rented- is a 10-minute walk away. Organic vegetables for sale in Boskamp as well as a flower picking garden.
