The warm and cozy cottage, built in 2013, is well insulated and fully equipped. It is a detached smoke-free 2 person guest house of 50 m2 with private entrance, parking and complete privacy. It has an open space with a complete kitchenette with fridge freezer, 4 burner induction hob, extractor hood, nespresso coffee machine, kettle and combination microwave oven, a spacious living room with two comfortable single beds. The bathroom with sink and shower cabin is separated from this open space by a wooden sliding door. There is central heating and free wifi. On the private terrace with comfortable garden chairs and BBQ you have an unobstructed view of our orchard and the bulb fields of the Dommel valley. You can see in the distance the Kartuizerhoeve Het Groot Duijfhuis with its characteristic pigeon tower and, as far as we know, the oldest Flemish barn in the Netherlands dating from 1523.
Nature and surroundings
The guesthouse is located in the beautiful green surroundings in the Dommel valley in the middle of the Green Forest which is centrally located in the Van Gogh National Park. The quietly rippling Dommel around the corner. The church of Liempde in the distance. Whether you want to walk, cycle or relax in the orchard, our guesthouse is a wonderful place to enjoy nature. There are several cycling and walking routes. The cottage is located on the path the Hoevedreef over which you can walk through the fields to the Groot Duijfhuis or the Sint-Janspontje. Through this draw ferry across the Dommel you can walk within half an hour to the cozy center of Liempde with its terraces, cafes and eateries. In the other direction you can walk or cycle to Café 't Groene Woud for a delicious trappist beer from the barrel. The guesthouse is located exactly between Den Bosch and Eindhoven and both cities can be reached via the A2 motorway or by train via Boxtel station.
