We were so pleasantly surprised by the welcome—flowers from the garden and a pitcher of cold water, which was wonderful on that hot day of our arrival. The cottage has many thoughtful touches and, above all, an interior that’s even cozier than it appears in the photos on the website. The garden was wonderful, with lots of beautiful flowers, birds, and insects. From the garden, we watched three young great tits fly off and spotted a hare hopping close to our picnic blanket in the garden.

Vanuit de tuin hebben we drie jonge koolmeesjes zien uitvliegen en een haas gezien, die dichtbij ons picknick kleed in de tuin huppelde.
