De Vluchthut is a 3 hour drive (325 km) from utrecht, near the town of Esch.The wooded and hilly, mountainous Eifel region with its many beautiful hiking, biking and horse trails, are a place to be for the tranquility, nature seeker, adventurer and pensionado.The places Daun, Gerolstein, Stadkyll ( Landelparc) and Prum are a short distance away. Trier and Cochem on the Moselle are 65 km away.The river Mosel known for its wine region and wine festivals, boittichten and fairytale villages are 40 min away The refuge is located in the middle of the forest with all conveniences and inconveniences, big game, small game, such as deer and boars, rabbits,martens, foxes,buzzards

The refuge is located on one hectare of private land ( meadow with woodland in the middle of nature The area is called the Volcanic Eifel, known for its vast forests, meadows and extinct volcanoes that can be visited.For luxury you really need to be somewhere else.Guests who are afraid of i sects, field mice and other predators better book a hotel and stay away from here
