Bicycle and hiking trails wind through the rolling terrain, inviting visitors to enjoy leisurely trips along quiet paths surrounded by the area's natural splendor. Well-known hiking trails include the Dinkel Trail and the Twents blokje om (smuggling route). Bird lovers will feel at home in this area with the presence of the Oelemars 2 km away but also to admire from your own terrace. At 3km distance you will find the recreational lake Drieländersee (Germany) and it is near Enschede, Oldenzaal and Bad Bentheim.
