Welcome to our unique nature house, an authentic seesaw-water mill on the Merwede Canal. Sleeping in the mill is more than just an overnight stay; it is an experience that transports you to another time. What makes this mill so special is the combination of history and comfort. While you enjoy modern conveniences, such as a full kitchen (with Nespresso), luxury bathroom and cozy bedstead, you can feel the rich history in every corner of the mill. For us, the best thing about this cottage is the breathtaking view of the vast meadows and rippling water. You can completely relax here, hear the wind blowing through the sails and follow the rhythm of nature. Our miller Leen can be found regularly at the mill to put it to work, so you can experience the real mill experience. The cottage is suitable for 2 adults (in the bedstead of 195 cm) and 2 elementary school children (bedstead 130x170 cm).
Nature and surroundings
Our mill is located in the middle of the beautiful Alblasserwaard, the area with the most windmills in the Netherlands (with Kinderdijk in the backyard), a landscape full of green polders and meandering rivers, it doesn't get any more Dutch. De molen is prachtig zowel van binnen en van buiten. De inrichting is met zorg gedaan, het is knus en van alle gemakken voorzien. We hebben er heerlijke dagen gehad met onze tweeling van 3 jaar.
