Relax in this vacation home in the Swedish countryside on the edge of the forest. The house is suitable for 4-6 persons.Ground floor The house has on the first floor a spacious kitchen with dining area, a cozy living room with fireplace and a spacious bathroom with shower and toilet. Between the kitchen and the bathroom is an extra room with a desk. Upon request, an additional sleeping accommodation can be created here. Upper floor On the upper floor there are 3 bedrooms, in 1 of the bedrooms there is a double bed. The other 2 bedrooms have a single bed, one of which can be pulled out so that there are 2 sleeping places. Facilities The house is equipped with heating via an air heat pump (in the kitchen), a wood stove (vedspis) and a fireplace in the living room. In addition to the wood stove, the kitchen has an electric stove with oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, coffee maker and kettle. In the bathroom there is a washing machine.
Nature and surroundings
The vacation home is located in Yttermalung, Malung-Sälens kommun in central Sweden. In the house is an information book with many tips on trips and activities. The nature in Sweden is characterized by its vast forests and many lakes. You can walk for hours through the forest or drive by car on the gravel roads without meeting anyone. Both during the day and at night you have a good chance of encountering a moose. Within short walking distance is the river Västerdalälven and 2 lakes. You can enjoy canoeing and swimming here and in winter enjoy the Northern Lights above the river. The nearby ski areas Kläppen and Skistar Sälen offer activities such as a climbing park, MTB trails, Downhill and a subtropical swimming paradise. In winter, of course, you can visit these areas for skiing, cross-country skiing, snowmobile safari and husky rides. Transportation by car is a good way to travel to Sweden, but flying into Stockholm or Oslo is also an option.
