Our bungalow is located in a small-scale bungalow and camper park in the national park De Meinweg, near the village Herkenbosch where there are several shopping and catering facilities. The bungalow is located on the edge of the park (50 bungalows), in a cluster of 10, in the forest. Pets allowed. You are 5 km from shopping city Roermond (with Outlet Center) on the German border, in the middle of National Park De Meinweg, centrally located in Limburg. The bungalow has many extras in addition to the usual small inventory: linen is included and the beds are made on arrival, there is a fireplace (only fireblocs), wifi (own kpn connection), cable TV, DVD player, radio CD player, microwave, mini-oven, refrigerator/freezer, Senseo coffee machine, a barbeque, comfortable garden furniture with cushions, children's furniture standard. You are not staying in a luxurious villa, but in a simple, but comfortable and fully equipped vacation home at an attractive price.
Nature and surroundings
The nature reserve De Meinweg (forest and heath) is a beautiful place for wonderful walks or bike rides, our bungalow a comfortable place to stay. It is also a wonderful place for four-legged friends. In the immediate vicinity of the park they are allowed to walk freely. The national park is part of a larger nature reserve, Nature Park Maas-Schwalm-Nette, with the border with Germany only on the map. An extensive network of cycling and hiking routes is excellently signposted via the junctions, where you can also discover the Maasplassen area around Roermond and, for example, the white town of Thorn. Of course, Limburg with its hospitable residents has much more to offer. You are 5 km from shopping city Roermond (with Outlet Center) on the German border, in the middle of National Park de Meinweg, centrally located in Limburg. All tourist attractions and cities within reach.
