Our Finnish kotas are equipped with a fully stocked kitchenette, complete with a refrigerator, a Nespresso coffee maker, a kettle, cutlery, dishes, cutting boards, and a knife set. They do not have their own cooking facilities. You can optionally reserve our breakfast, featuring homemade sourdough bread and a selection of homemade and local products. Of course, we adapt to the season and rely on what our land has to offer.

Our kota with a barrel sauna is located in the quiet countryside of Slootdorp. It’s right in the middle of the Wieringermeer, where in the spring many tulip farmers fill the fields with beautiful bulbs and flowers. Centrally located in the Wieringermeer, places like Schagen, Alkmaar, and Den Helder are all within a 20-minute drive. But if you’re more into nature, grab a bike and follow one of the many available cycling routes; and for the adventurers, head to the nearby Robbenoordbos on your mountain bike. The Robbenoordbos also offers hiking and horseback riding trails. A day of mudflat walking is easy to book; you can set off from the picturesque fishing village of Den Oever. Feel like a day at the beach? That’s possible too! Seaside resorts like Callantsoog or Julianadorp aan Zee are just a 15-minute drive away. For business travelers, the cottage has a desk for working and high-speed Wi-Fi is available.
