Fine and bright vacation home with unobstructed views of greenery. Here in Wittelte there is a lot of space around you and yet you are close to nice villages like Havelte, Diever and Dwingeloo and you are so close to one of the nature reserves of Drenthe.About the house: there are two bedrooms with nice beds, two bathrooms, a large open kitchen, lots of games, fast wifi and a cozy wood stove. Outside there is a large garden around the house. You can light a fire in the brazier and, of course, bbq in the summer. There are bikes at the ready. Here at this cottage we are quiet outside after 11 p.m.. There is hardly any light pollution: on a clear night it is stargazing galore. Do you feel like surrounding yourself with nature, peace and quiet and space? Then you are in the right place in this house. Welcome!
Nature and surroundings
The house is sheltered on the edge of a friendly group of vacation homes in Wittelte, about a 30-minute drive from Zwolle. There is no barrier and nothing in common. We do share a love of birds, nature and tranquility. From the cottage you are within minutes on the Holtingerveld and walk along the Brandeveen (water, see photo), in 20 minutes at the Blue Lake (for swimming, see photo). At 10-15 minutes drive you are in one of the national parks of Midden-Drenthe: the Dwingelderveld and the Drents-Friese Wold, one of the largest nature reserves in the Netherlands. You can enjoy hiking, horseback riding, mtb'ing, biking, spotting flocks of sheep and finding megalithic tombs in all the parks, but chances are you'll also like to stay at the cottage, and relax in the garden. It is a favorite spot for birds, butterflies and squirrels. You can park your car in the private driveway with space for three cars.
